This company is trying to make me pay a little over $for a water that I did not use I was renting a house from a man and a pipe burst underground in the front yard by the curb which lead to a bill of thousands if dollarsDue to this issue I moved from that address afraid that it may happen againI am now not able to get my water turn on for me and my chilfdren all because of a bill for water that I never usedThis is stressfull for meI went to the water company on 07/22/to speak with a supervisor and they wont let em get my water turned unless I pay a third or half of a little over $3XXX(XXXXXXXXXX)acount # It's not fair! SInce I am paying for water that I never used I feel I shoud atleast be able to get my water turned on for reasonal amount and then the rest added monthlyI went in there and pored my heart out about everything that happened and how the landlord would not assist me in paying the bill and it didn't matter at allThis is ridiculousI just pray the L

I received the same total use charge twice and the water company fails to understand and fix the situation I moved in my apartment on Dec18th and I called to get my utilities turned on Dec17thThe water company needed additional documents to provide me serviceMy apartment faxed them the lease agreement so I can have to utilities turned on in my nameFor some reason, it wasn't in my name until the 23rd so they billed the apartment which was a bill for me and I had to pay $which $of that is a duplicate charge of the total use charges and my lease clearly states my move in date is the 18thI agree to pay the charge for use of the water but having to pay the Little Rock Wastewater use Charges twice for the same apartment in which I clearly lived there and used the water is not rightTaking $from one unit twice in the same billing period isn't rightMy account is XXX-XXXXThe account number for the same apartment and billing cycle is XXX-XXXXMy bi

services were disconnected after payment of depson service were made I recicived a letter from the central arkansas water company stating I need to pay my dep to avoid disconnect so 02/26/paid it at there office for the nlr redsiantes and on 2/27/a day late they disconnect my services when I call to find out I am told because I was suppose to pay on 02/22/but my services were still on on the day I paid the avoid diconnect and day later after payment they turn it off.now the first reptells me dollars will be added to my bill I needed my itin number that I have lost and I told her I would call back well could not found my itin papers called back and the rep.this time tells me I need to connect and now well I paid the while services were still on to avoid this and the lady say you didnt call but I see you paid at nlr location but I still have to pay well I call 02/28/agAIN I need water I have a small child and I said I know what the letter says I am o

I don't have a dispute (yet) with this company, but I would like to say that the employees of Central Arkansas Water in Little Rock are rude and do not know how to speak to customersI am horrified to think of the people they must upset anytime there is a water leak in a home or a businessI attempted to have them check on a water leak near the street in my rent house in Little RockI am unsure whose responsibility the leak is, as far as repair, but I hated to see a waste of a natural resource, such as water, wasted; therefore, I was attempting to have the situation repaired as soon as possibleThe water company was contacted and I selected the emergency contact number on the phone menuI reached a man, who acted like it was his job to make sure I understood any leak in the yard is the homeowner's problemI asked him if they could go out and check to see if it is their problem or mine, and he said they will send someone to check it out, if that is what I wantReally? Isn't that what you want, sir, when you have your product wasted into a yard, which may or may not be your problem? I was informed that they would leave a note on the door as to whose problem it is to repair the leak, even though I explained that the house is a rent house and I am in a town an hour awayI cannot go there, because I work nights and have to sleepWhen I inquired if he would take my number, he said, "You can give it to me, but I am not going to call you." When I told him the guys who rent the house called a plumber, he interrupted me and said that it must be my problem if you called a plumberI cannot imagine how upsetting that attitude would be to an elderly person on a fixed incomeDo these people not have to worry about having customers? That they have such a monopoly that they don't have to satisfy anyone and can be as rude as possible to people having a crisis? UnbelievableSomeone needs to talk to this company on educating their employees about customers and crisis and kindness, especially when someone is in crisisI was so furious, I called back to the customer service line, hoping to receive someone who could calm me down, but to no availNo one at this business cares if water is leaking, at least that is how it felt.I asked her about all the water that would be leaking out after it is determined to be the homeowner's responsibility and how expensive and wasteful that would be and she said nothingWell, I would just have to call back late afternoonYes ma'am, it is the homeowner's responsibility even after the water company was notified about the leakShe said nothing about a discount When reading the complaints filed on this site, I noticed the following: Business Response Central Arkansas Water leak adjustment procedure allows for customer to received a 50% reduction of charges in excess of their usage for up to billing cycles where the leak occurred There was no mention of the above to me when I inquired about what happens to the water charges when that water leaks all day or until the afternoon, when I was told to call back to see if the water company's note on the door pronounces the leak to be the homeowner's responsibilityI felt the fear creeping up about receiving a huge bill and these people COULD CARE LESSThat is how it feels, anywayI am horrified to think of any elderly people facing a similar problem Everyone should be concerned about this review, because it is just a matter of time until it happens to youPlease make sure the COO or Communications Director receives this, so there can be some education going on within their company

After shopping locally (Rehoboth Beach, DE) and online, I found that I could save money by purchasing Mohawk engineered hardwood flooring online and having it installed by a local installer 8/31/15: I placed the order with Alan Gentry @ www.totalvalueflooring.com, an e-commerce division of James Carpets of Huntsville, Inc 9/8/15: I received an e-mail from Alan that the flooring had been shipped via ESTES I understood that they would contact me to schedule delivery 9/15/15: I contacted ESTES to check on delivery They couldn't locate the order Later that day, they found the order, except the moldings were missing I called Alan to report the problem 9/23/15: ESTES delivered Of the boxes of flooring, were damaged, and T-moldings were split After opening all boxes, the installer was able to salvage all but cartons I reported this to Alan who reordered boxes and T-moldings I suggested that the order be shipped UPS Next Day Air Alan informed me that he has a contract with ESTES which doesn't allow for overnight shipping MEANWHILE, THE INSTALLATION IS DELAYED! 9/30/15: I received an e-mail from Alan that the replacement order had been shipped; I called ESTES to schedule delivery 10/1/15: The installer asked me to order additional reducers 10/2/15: I received an e-mail from Alan that the reducers were shipped via UPS 10/5/15: ESTES delivered the replacement boxes and molding; both boxes were damaged I contacted Alan who agreed to refund the cost of both boxes MEANWHILE, THE INSTALLATION IS DELAYED! 10/6/15: UPS online indicated that the reducers were delivered 10/5/to William James in Sheffield, AL I contacted Alan whose response was very unprofessional He assured me that the reducers would be shipped via UPS Next Day Air Before ending the conversation, I asked Alan to guarantee that my charge card would be credited for the damaged boxes; he e-mailed a receipt I REGRET PURCHASING MOHAWK ENGINEERED HARDWOOD FLOORING FROM TOTAL VALUE FLOORING, AN E-COMMERCE DIVISION OF JAMES CARPET OF HUNTSVILLE, INC!
