reimbursement have slowed cash flow for services across the countryThe Federal Government Budget Sequestration of & which reduced, slowed down and stopped payment to medical providersObamacare as well as President Obamas goal to reduce health care cost has put a financial burden on this companyTo reduce costs, medically necessary services already provided were audited and the payments were taken back from medical providers including usAt this time providers are waiting three years to have Medicare appeals at the adminsitrative law judge level to receive payments for services provided years ago. Many ambulance services have closedThings were already bad then in December Medicare put a new stipulation on ambulance services in Pennsylvania requiring prior authorization for repetitive non emergency ambulance transportationPeople who have committed themselves to serving the sick and injured receive less and are required to do more paperworkSo please know, the delay in your refund was not because we didn't want to pay you, it was because the funds were not thereAgain, I am sorry.Sincerely, One discrepancy with the complaint is that the problem occurred on 4/11/ The problem occurred when her insurance carrier paid seven months later! Review: I was in an automobile accident and needed ambulance services in April 2014. Guardian Angel billed me and I paid the bill immediately. Subsequently it was determined that my insurance agency [redacted] should have paid that bill, and they did pay Guardian Angel in November 2014. Which means that Guardian Angel received reimbursement twice for the save service! Since then I have been calling Guardian Angel regularly for the past 7 months for my refund of $288. They keep giving me the runaround, not returning my phone call etc.

I have suffered a lot in the accident and have incurred much out of pocket expenses, and I need Guardian Angel to pay me back. This is not the kind of service we expect of anybody let alone an Ambulance Service agency that caters to sick people or people in need. This is more a matter of principal that no business should treat their customers in this manner.
