Received call from Larry ***, providing business response to complaint.Mr *** points out that Ms *** is not his customer in this transaction, and he does not know with 100% certainty that she is the daughter of the customers he believes this complaint refers to.But he says if it's the
transaction he thinks it is, Ms ***'s parents came in to the dealership during a promotional event with an older, high-mileage vehicle, and expressed interest in trading it on something newer and more reliable for winterHe says they discussed with the dealership what their desired monthly payment was, and were surprised to find that their credit score was better than they'd anticipated.Mr *** says they seemed happy to be purchasing the Terrain, and there was nothing to indicate to the dealership that they were not of sound mind to make the buying decision.He says Ms ***'s parents have been back into the dealership since their purchase, and have not expressed any concerns or regret about the vehicle purchase itselfHe says they did briefly discuss cancelling their extended warranty / service contract, but ultimately opted to keep it(He adds that if the customers themselves have had a change of heart and still wish to cancel the service contract, they may do so.)Mr *** says that H&L Motors will not be able to unwind the purchase, and based on its first-hand interactions with the customer, believes there is no cause to do so
