Response taken over the phone: The customer contacted us in fall but wanted to wait until spring to install the fence We planned to install it in spring but the consumer no longer wanted it done We have been holding his check since the beginning of July and he has not picked it
up

Response taken by phone:  We put the post in and the railing back on the next day.  We are aware that there is a crack in the trim piece and we will be replacing that when that piece comes in.

Guardian's response is an outright lieYes, we cancelled
the job, only because they would not show up to do the job, they gave us
nothing but lies and promises PERIOD! It is also a lie that they are
holding my check awaiting pick up, that check was cashed back in November of
2014, The apparent owner Tony, during my phone conversation outright REFUSED to
give me my money back, using the most vulgar and uncouth language he could muster,
told me right out to go [redacted] myself, real nice, just Google Guardian fence and
see who's the liar hereI have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's
office, this guy is a crook, and I am by no means the only person getting this
treatment[redacted]

Consumer called , stated it is resolved. The money has been received.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I received a text from the salesman at Guardian that Tony the owner would come and fix the railing on Tuesday. I must admit I was a bit skeptical whether he would show. However, he came at about 3:30pm.  He fixed the cracked fastener as well as the railing. He mentioned when he left that he was hoping he could get the fastener a little tighter but it was acceptable for me and so I told him not to worry about it.  Regards,

This fence and gate was installed within the normal criteria for in gaps Fences and Railings of 4" or less. Both gate posts were installed 4" or less from the customer's house and from the neighbor's fence. The gate was installed on the afternoon of Thursday, May 14th. The customer called on...

Friday May 15th and complained that her recently purchased puppy had escaped and she was told that somebody would call her back. Before the appropriate person at Guardian could receive the message when he returned to the office on the next business day (Monday, May18th), she had call the Revdex.com on Saturday, May 16th, and complained that nobody called her back.
After talking with her the following week and meeting her to look at her complaint, Guardian Learned that she had recently purchased a very small puppy. Even though the gaps were within normal tolerance for fences and railings of 4" or less, Guardian agreed to put a filler piece on both gate posts to close the gap even further.
The customer inspected this additional work and agreed that this resolved her complaint. See attached photos.

We received a message on our answering machine on Monday 8/14/17 and sent a message to Fred who was out of town until Thursday 8/17/17. He tried to call customer and leave a message for customer. When he returned he gave contract to office to issue a refund check which we did on 8/18/17 and mailed...

to customer.The installer for railings has been off work due to a broken hand which back up the railing jobs. We are sorry for any inconvience to the customer.
