I am writing In response to the letter I received about a complaint against our agency, ID ft [redacted] While we have done and continue to do everything possible to ensure that adequate staffing for the patient is acquired the conditions of which the Home Health Aides are working under often complicate this processMany times the patient and spouse are dismissive and rude to the HHA making staffing turnover extremely high in his homeAdditionally, I feel it necessary to share that there is also an open neglect case with this patient and his immediate family memberWe will continue to seek staffing for this patient as needed and continue to call the patient with staffing changesWeekly schedules will continue to be emalled to the patient Thank you, [redacted] Director of Home Care Guardian Home & Community Services

Some time back my mother-in-law contacted this company for assistance with daily coresOn one of these visits the employee damaged my vacuum when I contacted the company the stated that it may not be their problem but the "would look into it"After several months of no contact or return call I made another attempt to contact them the response this time"Call corporate"

In reply to the statement made by the executive director pertaining to Guardian doing everything possible to staff my shifts, Guardian has failed to staff approximately shifts in about one months timeRegarding Guardians accusations of home health care aides receiving dismissive and rude attitudes by myself and wife, are completely falseWe treat the care workers fairly and respectfully "Staffing turnover" is high mostly due to mismanagement by the site managerOn many occasions, the manager at site has had different start and end times confusing myself and I'm sure the care workersOn numerous occasions, I had to clarify the shift hours because the site manager continually had the wrong times in the emails and schedulesI have documentation to back up my statementsAlso the extremely high turnover that's been stated by executive director has mostly been due to care workers not getting hours promised to them and also getting very short notice of their scheduleSeveral past employees have complained about site seven manager not being available to themAs far as the open neglect case, I was not aware of any neglect by any of my familyIn fact I am always taken care of by my family, my mother and wife in fact covered the missed shifts that Guardian failed to fill.
In closing, I only contacted the Revdex.com because I could not get resolve with any of the problems I faced with managers at GuardianAlso, I am really disheartened by the way that Guardian can get away with having no backup plan of their own when a worker doesn't show up for their assigned shiftThey tell me that I need my own backup planWhat is the purpose of hiring a Care Agency, when I have to have my own backup.

My mother in law used this company for some help around the homeThe employee spent most of here time trying to avoid work and on the day that she did do something she damaged the cord on the vacuum I providedWhen I attempted to contact the company's office in Saegertown PA I was told it was not their responsibilityIn addition the company representative that spoke with my wife and mother in law Brett S*** was very rude

Review: Cindy Sweeney at Guardian's Weatherwood site#7 has failed to fill my shift for in home care 5 times in 2.5 weeks. She has demonstrated bad management skills and has really failed to call us on changes to the schedule. Cindy has sent care workers to our house without telling us their names. We feel let down and abandoned with Guardian's service. They should not be in the home care business.Desired Settlement: I would like Guardian home services to get called by public welfare of pa I want justification of this resolve.
