I had guardian roofing do a job on my roof, they had done a incorrectly job, that caused major damages to my home. this include a busting of a drain pipe. causing damages to all three floors, walls, ceilings and carpets. over 30m feet of pipe needed to be replaced, to find out the roof was improper fixed , had several professionals look at it and one roofing inspector. proved the job was done wrongly. I contact guardian roofing and they started to fixed and they suddenly left and never came back leaving me with a mess and more damages to fix. I have holes in my walls that can cause health hazards because of the water leak that is causing mold.Desired Settlementi would like a a replacement of the entire roof and fixed damages caused in the interior of my home, refund of what ever has been fixed by others and also refunds to my home insurance.Business' Initial Response [redacted]My company installed a new roof on the house in question about four years ago.This spring [redacted] contacted my by telephone and told me there was a problem with the center drain.I went there immediately, the next day, and looked at it with him.According to Mr. [redacted], the drain had leaked and damaged sheet rock inside the house.[redacted] already had done repairs to the sheetrock, and replaced a section of the drain.[redacted] told me that what he wanted me to do to settle the matter was build an access scuttle to the roof, and tape the sheetrock he had installed.I agreed to do these things.As soon as weather permitted I started construction of the roof scuttle.On the first day of work we were rained out by a thunderstorm.For the next few weeks we had almost continuous rain storms.On the second occasion that I returned to complete work on the scuttle, [redacted] informed me that he had contacted his insurance company, and that I was not allowed to do any more work on the property.I informed him repeatedly that I stood ready to do whatever was required to complete the work he had requested, but he was adamant that I was not to do anything further.At this point I feel I have done everything I can do to remedy this dispute.[redacted]'s decision to call in his insurance company has taken the matter out of my hands.I request that you list this complaint as closed.[redacted]Consumer's Final Response Guradian roofing has also falsified that he did a job 4 yrs ago when it was actually in 2011. what I want from him is to reimburse for all the damages caused to my home and rental income that has been lost because of this caused since may 2013 to this present. I did try to work with him, he started some work in my roof and never finish, he state he was going to come back and never did. I also found out through consumer affairs that he is not license or insured. I have proof of inspector that everything was done wrong. I will send proof by mail .
