Guardian Security Alarm Systems, Inc.

We had an alarm system installed approximately three years ago. Fortunately we did not have any issues with the system, because we did not experience any security issues. Several months ago my mother, who has dementia moved in with us. In October 2015 she walked away early in the morning. We did not hear the alarm go off, so it was hours before we knew she was gone. We notified the company that the alarm was not loud enough. They convinced us that we needed to have another pad installed up stairs. This cost us an additional 190.00. Two nights last week my mother tripped the motion sensor. We still did not hear the alarm even though we have the additional box.

I was instead awaken by a knock on my bedroom door by a deputy sheriff, whom mom had let in. Some wake up call! They are now telling us that we need another box, because their installer obviously did not install the correct box.. We are not going to spend another dime on this system. We still have almost two years before our agreement is up, or we can pay 800.00 to get out early. Wow! What a rip off. The only positive comment I have is that our local sheriff department responded in a timely manner each time and they were all very understanding.
