Review: My day started off just fine. Then I went to go pic up my car from the shop n they closed early with my car in the shop. No call no nothing. ... They open at 7:30. I gotta b at work at 8:30.....The hours of operation are clearly marked as 7:30-5:00 pm on Wednesdays. I arrived at 4:45. The shop was closed. This is preventing me from arriving to work at my designated time and possible work loss. I am now stuck with the affiliate company Car Hop waiting for my ride.Desired Settlement: I would like my brakes repaired at no charge, allowing me to use my 200 voucher again for future repairs at another repair shop.

Message:This letter is in reference to complaint No. [redacted] that was submitted on 9/16/2015. This person was informed when she dropped off her car that she would have top pick it up by 4:00 P.M. as we were closing early. She stated that she would either get a ride back to the shop when the work was done or the she would just wait around until the work was finished. We never heard from her until around 5:30 P.M when one if my mechanics got a call from [redacted] of [redacted] asking if someone could meet her our shop to pick up her car. My mechanic could not accommodate her and I live in Lincoln and was not willing to drive all the way down to Sacramento since both the customer and [redacted] were informed at the time that she dropped the car off that we would be closing early. There is no doubt in my mind that they both understood this.Sincerely. [redacted]

Response:Guenter & Harry Auto Repair installed new front brake pads and rotors as requested from this customer--as far a we know there was nothing wrong with the job that we did,therefore we deserve to be paid for this job and we were--we will not refund any money to this customer--thank you Genter & Harry

I am rejecting this response because: I'm not asking for a refund I'm asking for you not to charge me for the great job that you did cause you inconvenience by locking my car in your shop number one number everyday the car came from that shop its been running hot so not only was I inconvenience by not being able the car but now its a problem was it that did not exist for I brought it to that shop.

Review: Took my car in for brake work. Rotors were no good, car shook if I hit the brakes suddenly while on freeway. Mr. Guenter got the approval from my warranty company to replace the rotors and pads on both sides in front. When I picked my car up, the brakes were squeaking and there was a clicking sound coming from the front right tire. Took my car back maybe 3-4 days later, he had someone drive my car around the block and then told me, my brakes are safe and don't worry about the clicking sound. Well it is August and sometimes when I step on the brakes, they grind, its still squeaking and making the clicking sound.I really don't want him working on my car anymore but he should be accountable; I have enough sense to know that if you replaced the rotors they should not grind after 3 months.Desired Settlement: Want he held accountable

I changed the brakes twice for the customer. I told her to take it to another shop and we will pay for it. I don't know what she wants. Whatever she wants to do I will do.
