I was verbally told by the merchant, Aurora Transmission, that they would replace the transmission on my Nissan Altima and install a used transmission that was “like new” from a car with very low miles
I was told the cost would be between $and at most $maximum for the bill
The day I picked up the vehicle (Feb9th, 2017) from Aurora transmission, I was provided a bill in the amount of $and I had stated that “I was quoted by you in the amount of $to a max amount of $1900.00” and *** at Aurora Transmission stated that “he did not calculate the taxes in correctly”He was not willing to change the amount to reflect the quoted priceI paid Aurora Transmis
I dropped off my *** Lucerne to get my transmission rebuilt & I was told by Wayne, that I will be contacted about a priceWhen I was contacted by Wayne about the price he said it's going to be between and depending on whats inside the transmissionI insisted that he gave me a set price and I still couldnt get an answer out of himWayne then called me a couple days later and said "We are already at $because of a $part I had to replaceIm calling about a $part that I need to replace and I was wondering if you want to replace it" after this conversation I could clearly see Wayne was trying to rip me off and constantly go up on the priceWhy would you call about a $part and not the $part? & how could you possibly charge more labor for the $part if Im already paying $for the job? This guy Wayne is extremely disrespectful over the phone and at one point asked for an apology for his miscommunication about the parts and how the price was going up because of an axelI hate when businesses try to get over like thisWhy cant I have a set price? Why am I not contacted about a $part but I am contacted about a $part plus more labor? I really dont think Waybe likes me but I did nothing wrong to him and I dont deserve to get charged more for things that I am unaware of or things you didn't bring to my attention
