My name is [redacted] and I am the owner of Guido's ice cream shop in *** I have been running this seasonal business for years and thankfully nothing like this has ever happenedI want to let [redacted] know that I am very sorry that this happened to her and I did the best that I could to look into the situationI counted the draw that night and it came out correct I also had a meeting w the two girls that were working there that night and they both said that they remember taking ***'s order and giving her the correct change backWhat my girls are trained to do is ring in the order, tell the customer the price of their order, announce the amt the customer gives them out loud , punch in the amt the customer gives them and then the register will tell us what change to give customer back and the girls should count the change back to the customer out loud as they give it to them Had [redacted] have noticed that she was shorted money , I would have immediately , counted the draw w her there to immediately determine if the customer was shorted change In this case [redacted] said she just put her change in her pocket and didn't realize anything until the next dayI feel very bad about this [redacted] , but I truly don't have an extra to give you I know its not much, but I would like to offer you some gift certificates to the ice cream shop if that would help
