Review: I am being erroneously billed $194. I contacted Dr. Brito months ago and he said it was an insurance issue. I contacted the insurance and they said it was a claim filing issue on his part. I later wrote him a letter explaining that I was not responsible for this amount. Now I am being sent to collections.I first visited Dr. Brito around Feb-Mar of 2013. On my first visit I went there with my wife and then there were about 6-7 subsequent visits in which I went alone.On the first visit he asked for my insurance information and went into another room to verify coverage. After approximately 30 minutes he came back and he said that each session would be $40 and the insurance would cover the rest. After each session, including the first one with my wife I paid him the $40 co-payment.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that this bill be cancelled and removed form collections which is affecting my credit. He specifically told me that I was only responsible for a $40 co-payment per visit and now billing me for additional amounts.
