I purchased a Beachcat on 2/25/I paid in full to "speed up the process " as requested it took four plus months to get the paperwork and weeks to acknowledge their receipt of the bank check of $ 37,and my $down payment , when finally the boat was delivered the following the following issues were observed [1] the snap in cushions that were offered in stead of the black one were poorly installed with an additional snaps replacing the original so that two set of snaps, one set not needed were on every base [2] The wiring was totally installed in an unsafe and not to ABYC standards I had to spend hours to correct them and the marine switches and relays at my expense [3] the ladder ,which I replaced provided a bui"rooster tail " again my expense [4] The incorrect prop cavitated That was later replaced again at my expense [$529.00!] [5] after four day trips on our mile return a terrible banging , sounding like a major metallic issue was happening , stopping the boat my friend and I went in the water to find the two full length splash shields were partially dethatched were the fasteners were absent or broken off To their credit they did pick up the boat and replaced the prop [my expense] and repaired the shields but the other repairs were not compensated for even just for the parts cost , The friendly upbeat personalities became down right surly towards the end of this ordeal The only person that sorted out my problems was Ariana , before I dealt with her , I was never called back , promises not kept to pick up he boat , This was the most buyer remorse purchase I have ever had and when dealing with boats that's saying something All my claims are backed up with E-mails and paperwork

I am proud to be the first to leave a review for this company..my experience with this company was amazing It is certainly never fun to have to make the large purchases, but that really were very good at putting my mind at ease I first started with talking with *** ( who was wonderful) at 6:15pm telling her I was in desperate need of a/c assistanceShe said she could have a tech out TONIGHT, A very polite, professional man tech named *** was at my home by He cooled my home for a temporary fix and we discussed my options for a new, as mine was yrs old Wound up ordering a great split unit, got a great price and installers named *** and *** showed up within days I can't rave enough about these men, they worked feverishly for long hours...POLITE, CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL! *** and *** company techs showed through the day to check progress and offer assistance percent pleased OUTSTANDNG COMPANY! I will never use anyone else

Great group of people to talk to and do business withVery polite and professional!
They have a great selection of boats and their staff is very knowledgeable and helpfulIm glad I had the pleasure of doing business with Gulf Coast Boat Sales!

We purchased a brand new boat, motor and trailer from Gulf Coast Boat Sales the end of MarchWe stated on the first contract that we would need the boat in weeks as we were going on a trip end of AprilTwo weeks after purchase we called to check on it and were told the outboard motor we purchased was NO LONGER made by Mercury! They never contacted us to tell us this information! We had to pay $extra to upgrade the motor to a bigger oneWe checked back in a week to see if boat was ready to find out they HAD NOT even gotten motor, but were going to get it from another dealer tomorrowThey promised on a certain date to deliver the boat to our home, THAT NEVER HAPPENFinally just before our trip we went down to get boatWe were gone a month and came back to find out we DID NOT receive any paperwork on our purchase, NO WARRANTY, NO TITLE, NO REGISTRATION! I called and was told it was handled two weeks agoAfter checking with Motor Vehicle, I contacted the manufacturer to find out the dealer HAD NOT paid them for the boatThe manufacturer's rep was told 'the boat is out getting reupholstered' when they were there to check on itAnother week calling and calling we finally got our paperwork this week! We also had to call ALL the manufacturers and get the warranty paperwork done ourselvesPLEASE BEWAREDO NOT do business with this dealer, nothing but LIES, LIES and more LIES!!!

My experience with this company was not good at all. After agreeing to sell my boat on consignment, they picked it up and then I never heard anything back from them as to the progress on the sale. Ended up selling the boat for much less than was told I would receive. When it did finally sell they told me to come in and sign title and registration so they could get me paid. Then I never heard anything. It took me seven weeks to get paid. I would not recommend doing business with this company. High pressure, dishonest, unresponsive and a big hassle.

WARNING WARNING WARNING!!!

This company Gulf Coast Boat Sales is in financial distress and has horrible sales tactics. I purchased a boat from Gulf Coast boat sales (James L[redacted]) to use for our charter business, only to find out the boat was a piece of junk and it almost sank. The whole purchasing process was an absolute nightmare not to mention how they sit on your money. I have been told by master marine inspectors that they should've never sold me this boat. Just about everything James L[redacted] told me about the boat was not true. I have requested multiple times to speak with the owner John H[redacted] but he's never anywhere to be found nor will he respond to any of my attempts to contact him. DO NOT waste your time with this company. James L[redacted] will say everything and anything to make a sale but after the sale they won't even call you back. The boat they sold me for my charter company cost me $7,000 to fix properly, naturally they won't return my phone calls or make right on this problem. I've had multiple professionals in the marine industry tell me that Gulf Coast Boat Sales is known for shady/poor sales tactics and are in financial distress. I just wish I knew all of this before I did business with them!!
STAY AWAY!!!

we purchased a used pontoon boat oct 18 and have had nothing but problems with Gulf Coast Boat sales.

I purchased a Beachcat 22 on 2/25/2015 I paid in full to "speed up the process " as requested it took four plus months to get the paperwork and weeks to acknowledge their receipt of the bank check of $ 37,270.00 and my $5000.00 down payment , when finally the boat was delivered the following the following issues were observed
[1] the snap in cushions that were offered in stead of the black one were poorly installed with an additional snaps replacing the original so that two set of snaps, one set not needed were on every base
[2] The wiring was totally installed in an unsafe and not to ABYC standards I had to spend 20 hours to correct them and the marine switches and relays at my expense .
[3] the ladder ,which I replaced provided a built-in "rooster tail " again my expense
[4] The incorrect prop cavitated That was later replaced again at my expense [$529.00!]
[5] after four day trips on our 5 mile return a terrible banging , sounding like a major metallic issue was happening , stopping the boat my friend and I went in the water to find the two full length splash shields were partially dethatched were the fasteners were absent or broken off .
To their credit they did pick up the boat and replaced the prop [my expense] and repaired the shields but the other repairs were not compensated for even just for the parts cost ,
The friendly upbeat personalities became down right surly towards the end of this ordeal The only person that sorted out my problems was Ariana , before I dealt with her , I was never called back , promises not kept to pick up he boat ,
This was the most buyer remorse purchase I have ever had and when dealing with boats that's saying something . All my claims are backed up with E-mails and paperwork .
