I found this firm on Kijiji and have had a positive experience with them from the start
The gentleman who answered at the number given XXX-XXX-XXXX was friendly and understood what I needed, despite my lack of knowledge about the proper names of partsI was able to send him a photo of my opener by email to ***@gmail.com and he was there the next morning with the right parts to quickly do what was neededHe has since helped me with programming my new remote and one other question, without charge Excellent, friendly and capable technician

I am rejecting this response because:The response from Gulliver Garage Doors has been exaggerated and twistedI never told him to "get out now", I KINDLY asked him to leave (my exact words were "you can leave now" after handing a hundred dollars over)I'd like to state one more time that he did not say that a hundred dollars did not include tax before handAfter he finished his "job", or should I say inspection, he asked us whether we wanted a receipt, in which I responded "yes please", which he countered with you'll need to add tax to the already said amount (there was nothing said about an email)This response failed to address that the repairman had said that the cost would be recalculated from the top if we need his serviceWe did need his service, he just could not do the replacement and we did not need a new door opener. *** ** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** * ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** Additionally, this complaint was filled the day after the incident, June 29thThe incident happened on the evening of June 28, which was also the evening I called themSo, this company's claim that I filled this complaint minutes after the incident was untrue*** *** ** ** *** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** On the 29th, near 2p.m., A person from Gulliver Garage Doors called me after I filled out the complaint** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** ** ** *** * *** *** * *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** * *** *** *** *** ** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** he was trying to make me to withdraw this claim with Revdex.com and I responded with "but I felt cheated as a customer.” Later, I said "sorry, but this conversation is over" and hang up, because he seriously should not expect me to just listen without doing anything while he continuously provoked me** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** * *** *** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** I wouldn’t have any problem with this company if they had fixed my doorInspection cost? After the garage door stopped working, didn’t you think I’d research a bit and inquired to the manufacturer to know what was wrong? Extremelly disapointedFirstly person taking my call was only interested in booking an onsite inspectionWhen person arrived, they didn't service our type of doorTried to upsell me a whole upgrade, then charged me for an onsite service feeWatch out they don't have a clue about customer serviceAll could have been elliviated by asking a couple of questions over the phoneInstead they want to come out and pressure a sale because they are ther, and they still sting you without telling you upfront that there will be a fee

hello!
first I would like to say that we install a garage door opener not a garage door in this case.
this lady called around 7:30 pm to complain start the conversation with yelling on speaker ,that we didnt understand.
alex (no george in our...

company ) the guy who answer to the call told her he cant understand her.
after she stooped yelling we ask for her invoice number so we can understand who is she what we didi over at her house and who installed and what is the problem.
she explained with yelling on speaker ,that a safety cable on the opener got stuck in her car.
we are not responsible for car high or bad driving!!!
alex told her he can help her over the phone for first aid and if its not going to work we will send somebody first thing in the morning
again I repeat this is not our responsibility!!!

and I say again we wanted to help trying to relax her, another lie she is saying that this is the first time she is using it, tom our technician finish his job there . and she put her car in the same day and tried the opener 5-6 time before we left !!!
we do not appreciate any kind of this language !!

After posting a review on my experience with this company, they called me back and sorted it out - I received my money back and they apologized. In my opinion this issue has been resolved and I'm happy to revoke my complaint.

There was a big misunderstanding in that job.29$ service call is to come out, we told her that we can't find the problem in this motor, and we will need to open it to find out what is the problem, inspection is 1 hour labor which is 100$+ tax.she said ok!!!!when we done the inspection we told her...

she needs new opener or change the logic board on this one.she understand that we going to fix it in 100$.which we told her that it's only for the labor of inspection, we also told if we will do the repair or the new motor we won't charge the 100$ for the inspection.[redacted]we asked for 5$ for the tax, and email address for the invoice,they told us get out now!!!!gave us 100$ in cash!!!10min after we have a Revdex.com complain! we serve 400-600 costumers a monthim sorry if we can't make them all happy.but we try to give options and stay reliable as much as we can!cherrsgulliver garage doors
