This letter is in response to concern [redacted] that
Gundersen Health System received. We have now received the authorization to
release information on Mr. [redacted]'s complaint so I will address each concern.We have acknowledged to Mr. [redacted] that although his July
5, 2016 statement only indicated $265.00 in personal payments that we did
indeed receive his full $300.00 payment and he was given credit towards his
balance for the full $300.00. One of the visits that the payment was applied to
reached a $0 balance and thus did not appear on the statement. Due to Mr.
[redacted]'s feedback, we are working with our Information Systems department to
include paid in full accounts on patient statements going forward.We have explained to Mr. [redacted] over the phone how our
Radiology billing works and advised that he was not double-billed for March
services rather he is seeing technical and professional components broken out
on the statement.Mr. [redacted] was sent a full itemized statement on
July 26 th that shows he was given full credit for his $300 payment.
This also breaks down the Radiology charges.The representative who was following Mr. [redacted]'s
account monthly moved to a different role so we have provided him with a new
contact for any future concerns he may have.Finally, we have addressed the
customer service concerns with the representative he spoke with on July 14,
2016 as well as her supervisor and
apologize for the delay in response.We now feel that we have addressed all of Mr.
[redacted]'s concerns. If he has further concerns he is more than welcome to
contact me directly.

Thomas [redacted]The service provided was not acceptable in as much as the false teeth did not permit biting or chewing.  When the teeth were inserted after surgery the surgeon commented "These will never do." After several months of supposed adjustments and a negative response to make a major correction I returned the teeth and sought service elsewhere.  I made several contacts attempting to discuss and resolve this matter only to receive another invoice.  I don't feel the service was very professional nor has their handling of this matter.  Their arrogance is mind-boggling.  I believe I owe nothing.
