Good day,The payment was made to [redacted] on 5/28/2015This was the agreed amount of $200 Thank you,Greg

We have resolved this with the customer, please let me know what detail you will need from us.

I contacted them three times after I filed the complaint.  Mr. [redacted] said he would get them to me, a week went by, still no pants or communication. Then I texted him and told him that I would be filing a police report for stolen goods, as absurd as that is.  He said they...

would drop them off that night.  The next night, still no pants.  Another week, I texted him again, and asked him what his problem is?  He delivered them to my house that night.  He did not address that he had the items for seven weeks at that point.  I got no other compensation from them.  Truly I do not know how a business can get away with this kind of thing, but I do have my pants back.  Thank you for your time.   Sincerely;[redacted]

Review: In March 2015 I took my Coach Soho Optic Suede Purse to Gunderson Cleaners to be dry cleaned. I picked up the purse on 4/7/15. I paid $78 to have the purse cleaned. I looked the purse over in the store and noticed that the colors of the suede had bled onto each other. I pointed this out to the store manager and told her that I wasn’t happy with it. Her response to me was to ask me about the weather. When my husband got home from work a couple hours later I showed him the purse and we returned to the store that same day. My husband spoke with the manager and asked for our money back. She refused to refund the $78 and said that she needed to keep the purse so a claim could be filed.

On 4/17/15 I spoke with Greg G[redacted]. He looked at the purse and agreed that the cleaning had made the colors bleed. He said that he wanted to find the best way to resolve this. When new the purse retailed for almost $500. I have had this purse a few years and Coach no longer sells this style. I mentioned to him that there were currently a couple of listings for the same purse on Ebay. One purse was brand new with the tags still on it for over $300. The other listing was for a used purse for $125. While my purse was used it was still in very good shape. Greg G[redacted] asked if he bought me the used purse for $125 if that would okay with me. I told him yes that was fine. He asked if I would send him the link to the Ebay listing. I followed Ebay’s directions and it said that the link was sent.

On 4/30/15 I hadn’t heard anything back so I called Greg G[redacted]. He said that he hadn’t received the link for the Ebay listing. He should have called me when he didn’t get the link, he didn’t. He also could have easily looked it up himself, he didn’t. He offered to just send me a check for $125 for the purse. I agreed to that. I mentioned that I also wanted a refund of $78 that I spent to get my purse cleaned. I don’t think that I should have to pay for the cleaning that ruined my purse. He said that the store manager should have given me a refund that day.

On 5/8/15 my husband called Greg G[redacted] because we hadn’t gotten a check from him. He said that he wasn’t sure why it hadn’t been mailed but that he would check into it.

Today is 5/27/15 and I still haven’t received a check from Gunderson. Calling Greg G[redacted] doesn’t seem to get anywhere. I’m hoping that by filing this complaint I can finally be reimbursed for my ruined purse.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded the $78 I paid to have the purse cleaned. I also want to be reimbursed $125 for the purse that Greg G[redacted] offered.

Review: Late May 2014, I dropped off four items to be tailored. On 5/31/14, I picked up these 4 items. I did not try the clothes on or look at them at gunderson's. When I got home, I realized that all 4 items were tailored incorrectly. On 6/2/2014, iI went bact to the store to show them the mistakes and get a refund. The orginal bill was $49.18. The manager [redacted] suggested I call [redacted]. When I talked to [redacted], I agreed to have another tailor at Gunderson's fix the clothes. Thru the months of June and July, I texted [redacted] and called him numerous times because I had not heard if the clothes could be fixed. On 7/21/14, I finally heard back from [redacted] that my clothes were finished. [redacted] assured me that he was sending a $75 reimbursement check for my troubles. I have sent [redacted] 4 texts to remind him about the reimbursement check and I still have not received it.Desired Settlement: I would like the $75 that was promised.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I brought my husband's pants to be hemmed, not once but twice, and then after promising me that it would be done differently, a third time. After it came out again, I complained of the service and received a call from [redacted]. He came to my house to pick them up. After discussing with him at great length that it was more the customer service I received, the perceived dismissal of my concerns by [redacted] at the [redacted] store; he assured me he would get back with me promptly. I gave him over a week before I contacted him via text. No response. I called the store, no response. I called again, no response. I called again, no response. The time between phone calls was a day, sometimes two. Ample time to return a phone call.

OVER three weeks ago, if not longer, I gave [redacted] the chance to remedy this situation. I have made several phone calls to [redacted] at ###-###-####, and she has told me that the messages have been relayed directly to [redacted]. I called twice today, still no phone call back from anyone. I called twice today, once at 8:25 a.m. and once at 3:30 p.m. each time I was assured that [redacted] was given the message and should get back to me.Desired Settlement: [redacted], and Gunderson Cleaners, still has my property. The dress pants that need hemming. I would like those returned to me immediately. I would also like a full refund of services, and they did not meet the standard of service they promised.

Review: I am very disappointed in Gunderson Cleaners. I dropped off some drycleaning, consisting of down-filled pillow inserts, polo shirts, dress pants, and sunbrella window cushion covers. Not only did they NOT know what sunbrella fabric was, but they refused to clean it. They refused to clean the down-filled pillow inserts claiming it would change the ticking and loft of down, but would not go into further detail on why or in what way it would be ruined. I additionally wanted tabs removed from the sunbrella cushion covers. I called [redacted] at the [redacted] location, early last week after picking up my first batch of drycleaning, including alterations. The cushions were altered wrong, where they cut the tabs partially and then proceeded to stitch them to the backs of the cushions making it look like a mistake versus a useless tab. [redacted] did NOT apologize and argued that I requested this, even though this is what her drycleaning agent put after I clearly stated deconstruction and removal. [redacted] then said she would call me back the next day after talking with this girl. This girl, btw, is extremely lazy and refused to even hold the door open for me when I brought in five trips of drycleaning from the car. [redacted] refused to reimburse me for the mistake or fix the problem. She refused to have [redacted] call me at first, until I persisted. I am still waiting for that phone call. Talked to [redacted] again today on the issues, still upset, and still waiting for my pillows to arrive back at plant. I waited over two weeks for the cushions to show back up. The lazy girl was supposed to call me when they arrived...she didn't.

Furthermore, I find it appalling that a drycleaning is unfamiliar with a product as common as sunbrella, which they refused to clean because they said it would run. Sunbrella is a high-end mold/mildew and fade resistant fabric made for outdoor use. It doesn't run!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the improperly executed alterations or the items to properly be fixed and rushed. I would like a call back/apology from [redacted] or corporate. Full-refund charged for alterations only. Clothes Drycleaning was fine. Also, pillows returned in a timely fashion.
