I called to verify my account balance in Jan, for services in Nov, and was told I didn't owe anything to the hospitalIn Jun, 2016, I received a call from collections notifying me that I was delinquent on a bill for those same services amounting to $and that I had days to pay the balance or it would reflect on my creditI applied and was approved for the Colorado Indigent Care Program with an "I" rating meaning I am qualified for coverage on anything over $for the services I had receivedHowever, this assistance program only covers services rendered within the past days of applying, meaning I could not get assistance for the Nov servicesI never received a single phone call or piece of mail stating that I owed any amount to the hospital that would allow me to apply for such assistance in the first placeThey said I was probably not contacted because they had mistakenly entered me under different namesNo solution was even attempted on their part

I called to verify my account balance in Jan, 2016 for services in Nov, 2015 and was told I didn't owe anything to the hospital. In Jun, 2016, I received a call from collections notifying me that I was delinquent on a bill for those same services amounting to $1200 and that I had 30 days to pay the balance or it would reflect on my credit. I applied and was approved for the Colorado Indigent Care Program with an "I" rating meaning I am qualified for coverage on anything over $665 for the services I had received. However, this assistance program only covers services rendered within the past 90 days of applying, meaning I could not get assistance for the Nov services. I never received a single phone call or piece of mail stating that I owed any amount to the hospital that would allow me to apply for such assistance in the first place. They said I was probably not contacted because they had mistakenly entered me under 2 different names. No solution was even attempted on their part.
