I will attempt to address all of Mrs [redacted] Concerns in The Order Of Her Complaints #How Did She Know Her Headlights Were On When She Brought The Car In In Broad Daylight??? #Our Company Policy Is To Tell You Everything That Is Wrong With Your Car So You Can Make An Educated Decision About How Much You Want To Spend On Your Car (Lets Say Your Car Needs $Worth Of Work ,We Don't Think It is Fair To Sell You A $Brake Job,Take Your Money, Then Tell You About All The Other Things The Car Needs,You May Want To Get A More Reliable Car) # I Did Not Try To Use Scare Tactics ,I Merely Stated That With No Headlights & The Other Warning Lights On In Dash The Car Would Not Pass State Inspection (The Cars Inspection Sticker Was Expired) Also The Car Had No Registration Sticker Either (The Car Had a (3) Month Expired Dealer Paper Tag) #She States That The Shop She Took It To Before Bringing It To Us Said They Would Have Noticed The Headlights Were Blown & Not Broken (How Do I Know What Their Level Of Scrutiny Or Competency Is,Why Did Mrs Hutchinson Not Let Them Repair Her Car,Why Did She Bring It To Us??) # Your High Beam Headlights Would Not Be Affected By The Overcharging Rate Of The Failing Alternator (Volts) Because Only The Low Beam Headlights Are Activated When Driving Normally, There Would Be No Voltage To The High Beam Filament In The Headlight Bulb#I Did Not Hang Up On Her,She Hung Up On Me When I Tried To Reason With Her #Why Did Mrs Hutchinson Wait (2) Months To Contact Us About Her Concerns??? Does The Car Have Current Registration & Inspection Sticker Yet??? We Did No Repairs To Her Car,She Was Only Charged The Minimum Hour Diagnostic Fee Thanks, [redacted] ,Service Manager Austin Vol-Tech [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have gone back to Austin Voltech now times about the AC and they've told me they tested my Volvo XCand it was cooling fineWhen your mechanic says my AC is as good as it gets, no matter how unacceptable the cooling is, what was I to do but take his word for it! He was dismissive and condescending and intimidating to me personally That is why my husband was sent in this last time because I thought Dave would treat him better What I don't understand is how he managed to convince my husband that everything was fine even though though blower problem he blamed didn't occur when my husband observed it in the garage there We had our car checked out this summer by another mechanic who performed intensive tests confirmed that the new compressor we had installed at Austin voltech was in fact faulty and insufficient in its cooling and reached a low temperature of front and auxiliary This seems even unbelievable to me considering how hot it gets with kids in the car crying cause its too hot! I believe this was a bad installation and or part from the beginning, and regret not getting a second or even third opinion during the warranty period I trusted Voltech once but now believe they don't back up their work.Furthermore, I never got a message saying he would replace the compressor at no charge if I'd change my Yelp review!!!!!! Why on earth would I have not taken advantage of the occasion to fix the original problem, a broken AC that I wasted $1,to replace? I also don't know what he's talking about when he says I didn't say anything the other time I went in, unless I had already given up on the problem or it was winter and I wasn't thinking about a broken air conditioner He told me black cars in Texas have problems cooling? Really? I feel like a fool and a sucker for taking his sorry excuse So upset by this whole thing! I want an air conditioner that works I can't afford to do this all over again! Regards, [redacted]

[redacted] Did Have A A/C Compressor At Austin Vol-Tech Services IncAt [redacted] On 06/15/ My Company Is DSR Ventures DBA Austin Vol-Tech At Bench Mark Drive A Completely Different Company I Did Work For The Previous Company & Purchased An Assumed Name Certificate To Operate Under Austin Vol-Tech Once Austin Vol-Tech Services Closed Their Location At [redacted] & Relocated To Their New Location At [redacted] Texas But As Far As Her Comment About Not Getting Into A Pissing Match With Her,I Said I Would Not Get Into A Pissing Match With What Another Shop Told Her Over The PhoneWe Made Her An Appointment Any Way ,Her Husband Brought The Car In,We Hooked Up The A/C Machine & Showed Him The Pressures The Compressor Was Making psi High Side psi Low Side (Perfect Pressures) It Was Cooling Degrees Out The Center Vent As Far As The Fan Issue It Was Not The Inside Blower Motor We Said Was Intermittant It Is The Condenser Cooling Fan That We Saw Not Working And Has Code ECM-P(Cooling Fan Control Circuit Low) When Her Husband Tim Left That Day We Thought He Was Satisfied The Compressor Was Working & The Car Was Cooling Fine (He Came In 08/23/2017) Also She Came In To Auistin Vol-Tech Services IncDuring The Part Warranty Period In And Did Not Complain About The A/C Cooling IssueShe Also Failed To Mention That After Reading A Horrible Review On YELP That I called hER aND lEFT a Message On Her Answering Machine That If She Retracted Her YELP Review We Would Replace The Compressor No Charge Even Thought We Are Not Responsible For The Warranty

I am rejecting this response because:My lights stay on during the day that is how I know my lights were onI left my cat over night there for days so it made sense that they blow but again THEY WERE ON WHEN I DROVE THERE! I was on a land line phone and in the middle of MY sentence why would I hang up? No the lying *** hung up on meI didn't get my car repaired at the other shop because they couldn't diagnose the problem, that felt terrible about it didn't charge me anything and RECCOMENDED vol techThe business is called Texas alternators they probably can do lights but it's not a service they advertise They had absolutely nothing to gain from tampering with my lights but who did? *** There is electrical down there I didn't put it there who did? Who unscrewed the bulb? The alternator I waited months which is my own *** business but waited because it wasn't daylight savings and I didn't drive in the dark A business only failed me on my seat belts and while saving to get that fixed my alternator blew thus the chain of events
