I bought an older vehicle from this garage and didn't expect it to be perfectThe price was similar to the Book valueThe only obvious thing was that it needed new tires and they agreed to knock a few hundred off the price
Within a month of driving, I had to bring the vehicle in for an oil change and asked my mechanic to have a look over itHe gave me a list of things that needed attention and were regular maintenance that just wasn't done and a couple of things that needed to be fixed right awayNone of these things show up in a month, they were there when I bought the vehicle
When I called Gurton's Garage I got the used car salesman run around saying "It's an old vehicle, old vehicles have seepage" and "there's a difference between seepage and leakage" They were rude and insulting on the phone and questioned the integrity of my mechanicI made an appointment for them to "have a look at it"If it was leaking they would fix itThe appointment wasn't on the day that was convenient for me (days from the day I was calling) so I had to take a day off work and go in the following weekThey had the vehicle for less than an hour and then called me backThey had two of their mechanics look at it and found nothing wrong with itApparently, one of the mechanics told me, their "Policy" is that they wont fix seepage
I now have to spend over $*** to fix all the mechanical problems as well as replace the tires on a vehicle worth only about $*** I definitely DO NOT recommend going to Gurton's Garage for either a vehicle purchase or to have ANY kind of work done
