Gus Automotive

My vehicle was taken to Gus Automotive by another local mechanic to get something fixed that they could not doAfter my vehicle was there for several hours, I called Gus Automotive for updates, estimate, etcI was told by the lady that she could not give me an estimate and they would just have to do the work and I would just have to see what the charge was when it was time to pay the billWhen I asked why I couldn't get a "Rough" estimate, she began to get loud and just told me that was how it was going to be and that maybe I needed to find another mechanic to fix the vehicleI advised that I was only curious why I couldn't get an estimate because I couldn't afford $mechanic bill without knowing ahead of timeThe lady then proceeded to tell me she wasn't going to do any work for me and my keys would be in my vehicle and then hung up on meI received a response from the Revdex.com from her stating that I was badgering herNot once did I raise my voiceNot once did I insult this personAll I asked was why can't I get an estimateI also came to find out that this entire issue has stemmed from when Gus Automotive worked on another family members vehicleThey claimed to have done work that was already completed by another mechanic, work that was not asked to be done, and then expected to be paid for said workI was "Profiled" based off that prior issue with someone else Never would I recommend taking any mechanical business to Gus AutomotiveThey are shady and I thank them for NOT working on my vehicle and costing me more than what it really took to fix the vehicle

After my vehicle was there for several hours, I called Gus Automotive for updates, estimate, etc... I was told by the lady that she could not give me an estimate and they would just have to do the work and I would just have to see what the charge was when it was time to pay the bill. I advised that I was only curious why I couldn't get an estimate because I couldn't afford $1000 mechanic bill without knowing ahead of time. The lady then proceeded to tell me she wasn't going to do any work for me and my keys would be in my vehicle and then hung up on me. I received a response from the Revdex.com from her stating that I was badgering her. Not once did I raise my voice. Not once did I insult this person. All I asked was why can't I get an estimate. I also came to find out that this entire issue has stemmed from when Gus Automotive worked on another family members vehicle. Never would I recommend taking any mechanical business to Gus Automotive. They are shady and I thank them for NOT working on my vehicle and costing me more than what it really took to fix the vehicle.
