Gustafson Plumber

My Daughter and Son in Law live with me. Our brand new toilet from the local department store was installed by my usual plumber. It became clogged on a weekend [redacted] We were having company and I couldn't get in touch with my plumber so I got Gustafson's number from the phone book, yellow pages. [redacted] came to fix the clogg with an auger, I believe. I thought it was a snake, but anyhow, we could hear him in the bathroom making a lot of noise. When he finally got it unclogged, I wrote him a check and just after he left, my daughter went to clean it as it was a mess and found that my brand new toilet bowl had a crack with a mark attached. The mark was obviously from the auger...the tool that [redacted] used. I called Gustafson right back as soon as my daughter showed it to me and left a message on the Westboro number:XXX-XXX-XXXX to let them know and my daughter took a photo of it as well. On the [redacted] my daughter called and spoke with [redacted] who said that someone would call tomorrow, the [redacted] My daughter spoke with [redacted] again on the [redacted] to let her know I would be home to take a look at the damage. [redacted] cam [redacted] took a look and pics to show his boss. [redacted] my daughter spoke with [redacted] again and asked when the toilet bowl would be replaced..[redacted] said she would call tomorrow [redacted] to schedule the visit to replace it. Days went by, weeks went by. I called and spoke with [redacted] again and asked when the bowl would be replaced and she said that it was on back order and when it comes to the warehouse she would call to schedule the new installation of the new bowl. I have called twice more and got the same story. Today I called [redacted] to see when the bowl would be replace and [redacted] said that SHE would call ME to let me know when it is in and that we([redacted]) would not come out to install unless they are in the area. They would not come here JUST for this job, but only when they have other work in the area. I am shocked and incredibly disappointed to say the least. Others need to know and I want my $$Order_Number: invoice XXXXXDesired SettlementAt this point I would like my full payment back of 273.25 on my visa. I don't believe anyone would do business with them hearing about this. Business Response This is a classic case of he said, she said. Even though our plumber said the crack was already there, as it is near impossible to crack bowl with auger, we went ahead and ordered the customer a replacement bow on [redacted] It is out of our control how long it takes to receive orders from the plumbing suly house. We called for the order 4 times over 2 weeks. Toilet bowl received and installed [redacted] As far as we are aware problem is solved as new bowlwas replaced at no cost to customer. We have become aware that the original complaint to the Revdex.com was not written by homwowner.
