I received a call from *** a woman *** stated she needed to speak with a specific person in our office, before I could speak a word she quickly interjected "He is just a manager, I need the owner" I asked her what this was in reference to? She indicated who she was and where she was from but could not tell me the nature of the call, because she would have to speak with the owner I explained I could not transfer a call to the owner with that reference She said she could not speak with me in regards to the matter I held my position in the fact I could not transfer the call She became very agitated and boisterous I put her on hold and checked briefly if the owner was expecting a call form Gutters International, he replied no and what was it in reference to? I said she would not tell me, he said if she could not give me the respect and courtesy in my position he does not want to speak with her I relayed the message and she continued to argue with me and insisted to speak with the owner I stated the conversation was over and hung up If this is the type of people they hire to contact the public and speak with the public in this manner, I would only expect the company would have the same mannerism, if they are willing to accept this behavior
