When the guards were installed, I was told if there were leaks*** would stand behind his work and repair them.*** will not return calls or emails.
I have been calling*** and leaving messages since June 2018. He told me that if my gutters leaked, he would come out and fix them. I have called him on several occasions and left messages with no return. I emailed him on 7/11/2018 with no response to date. I would like for him to stand behind his word and remedy the leaking gutters.
I would like for Gutter Helmet, ***, to repair my leaking gutters as promised.
On the install of June 2016 we informed homeowner that his gutter is holding more than 3 to 4 inches of water all the time because of the roof framing and fascia that it is attached to. Homeowners roof has a 6 inch sag in it which is causing the water to stay in his gutter at the corner. We have been out there several times to address the issue with homeowner and reseal his gutter every time we go and reexplain the issue. Due to the sag in his roof line there is no way for the homeowners existing gutter to be raised in the proper position. Until homeowner addresses the main issue which is fixing the sag in his roof there is no way to stop water from being in the corner of the gutter. This issue is on multiple corners as well.
Gutter Helmut Systems of Alabama has refused to remedy my complaints, of contractor knowingly installed gutter over a rotten area on roof or soffit; at least three elbows forced into gutter allowing water to escape without going through gutter; downpipe fitted over the pipe instead of into connecting pipe water escaping; fascia positioned incorrectly; wrong screens allowing debris to collect in gutter; buying more gutters than the job required, the contractor left the unused gutters saying they belong to me. the most unacceptable action is acknowledging legitimacy to my complaints, *** promising to contact me during the week of June 4th, 2018 and until today not returning my calls. In an attempt to contact them via mail I sent registered return receipt mail to ***, Al and ***, Al and both were returned undeliverable. I have been taken advantage of and believe because I am female and oblivious to the process. Two major deaths caused increased stress and depression and allowed me to rely on the promises from this company but I cannot continue to fight this. I am also primary caregiver to a 7 year who lost his mom in 2014 which challenged my ability to follow up constantly from New Jersey. No consumer should experience this poor craftsmanship and disregard for honest and sincere customer service.

Refund - receive half of price of the gutters total cost $2,670 (1,335) - make all repairs within a reasonable time frame by first week of august 2018. Gutter Helmut is an irresponsible, fraudulent, unprofessional company and must be held to the standard of highest regards honesty.
In response to Mrs. multiple complaints, we have gone above and beyond trying to remedy her situation. Our installers are certified installers and go through a training course to get certified before we put them on a job. We have full confidence that they will and do a great job installing our products. We installed Gutters and our SM 40/40 product on her home. The product has a stainless screen mesh which covers the louvers and the rest of the product is solid. There is no way for leaves and debris to get inside the gutter system. In fact we have installed this product on over 1,000 homes in the past 5 years and have never seen where the gutter gets clogged as is the case with Mrs.s home. If our installers see rotten wood we will discuss with homeowner. It is not necessary to replace rotten wood to install our product. If the homeowner does not opt to replace then we move on and keep installing. Concerning the 3 elbows, standard downspout installation requires 3 elbows to let the water escape properly. We have to run the gutter the way the roof is framed. We cannot put gutters where they will not go which means that sometimes the gutters will drain onto an existing roof. We cannot help this and is a poor design of the home. We never encourage to let homeowners buy more gutters. We require a 3x4 downspout for every 30' of gutter run which will allow water to escape away from the home in ample time. If we have downspouts left over from the job, as a courtesy we will leave 1 or 2 behind in case they get damaged at a later time, so the homeowner will not have to purchase more. We never push leaving material on a job because we can always use it on another job, again we do this as a courtesy. We have been out to Mrs.s home multiple times on our own expense and replaced guttering that was crushed by her lawn man a year after install which she blamed on us. Upon seeing the Revdex.com complaint we again sent 2 workers out and removed and reinstalled the majority of her gutters and SM 40/40 and bought and replaced 2 more downspouts at our own expense from the lawn guys running over them again. Its unfortunate that Mrs *** feels the way she does about our company and feels that we disregard her because she is a female as she wrote in her complaint. We have hundreds of customers that are women and we treat them with the up most respect as we treat all our customers. To my knowledge when my workers left the last time she was completely satisfied.
