I am rejecting this response because: Although replacement Gutter Helmet Panels were reinstalled on Monday 10/12/On the very next day Tuesday 10/13/the new panels are popping up I have contacted Gutter Helmet again to come back and fix the issue.Dan from Gutter Helmet has committed to come back out to the site on Tuesday 10/20/between 9:30-10:00AM He stated he would bring out a crew to fix and he will remain on site to ensure all issues are fixedI am requesting that this Complaint to remain open until all issues are completely and satisfactorily resolved

I am rejecting this response because:  The business has not addressed the repair/replacing/compensating for architectural shingles that were broken during the installation of their product by their installers.

Review: Their installer broke a custom roofing shingle while installing their gutter helmet product and they failed to seal the gutter helmet product properly on the dormer portion of our house. This improper installation and lack of sealant is causing water to seep under the gutter helmet product and leak behind the facia board behind the gutter causing a large puddle where the water drips from behind the gutter. There may also be a possibility that there is leakage seeping down the inside walls of the house causing stains on the ceiling in a bedroom. Have called several times and Gutter Helmet of Conn LLC has been not been responsive to several requests I've made for them to come out to my residence to verify proper installation of their product, per contract. Have spoken with them since Oct 2nd of this year and have not received any support from this company nor its franchise owner.Desired Settlement: I would like Gutter Helmet to address this issue immediately, by verifying the correct installation of their product on my house, per the contract requirements. I would like the back side of the gutter helmets sealed on my dormer roof to prevent any water seepage occurring under the gutter helmet, to allow correct flow into the gutters.I would also like Gutter Helmet of Conn., LLC to repair/replace any broken roofing shingles that were damaged during the installation of this product.

Review: Installation of Gutter Helmet Panels and Heat** wire were not install** correctly in September 2014. I notifi** Gutter Helmet of Conn on 1/28/2015 there was a major problem Email to Rob. W[redacted]

Water rolling off the Gutter Helmet was found to be falling outside the original gutters.

In the winter of 2014-2015 the ice buildup caus** ice dams and various damage to the Gutter Helmet and original gutters. On three different occasions (Dan production manager Feb 2015) (Phil A[redacted] Production Manager 8/4/2015), Mike K[redacted] production manager & Mile K[redacted] owner September 8 2015) Gutter Helmet personal visit** the site. All of which said and confirm** that the original installation was not done correctly by the Gutter Helmet installers and that this is the cause of the damage to the gutter helmet panels and bent brackets etc.

As of today 9/18/2015 Gutter Helmet workers has revised the installation now 5 times and it is worse than ever. Almost all of the panels are now bent, plus numerous screws are incorrectly installed in the top of the panels, the brackets are bent and the 3 rows of wire below the panels are still twisted causing the panels to not lay flat on the brackets and roof.

Multiple times workers have come to the job site unprepared to install, as they showed up with no ladder, showed up without new brackets. Additionally, two of the workers Chris & Tim also stated they have never seen such a mess. In fact they stated that their teams are cleaning up the messes previous installers made.

One of the production managers’s showed up late evening where it was dark and extremely hard to see the problems. I called an additional time spoke with new production manager; he committed to come out on the telephone that day within the next 1-2 hours and he never called nor did he show up to look at the problem. I had to call office again.Desired Settlement: Option 1: Remove and install new Gutter Helmet panels , Brackets, properly install wire for heated helmet 3 rows of wire

Option 2: Give full refund of $2186.00 original job cost.
