I did a fair amount of research on gutter guards before making a decision. This product does seem to address the issues raised with other products. Gary did a nice job of promptly responding, coming out to the house, and explaining the differences/benefits of this product. (One small piece of advice would be to tame down the "sales pitch" a little- it was a little too strong for me personally). Install went great- they look nice on the house (blend in). It's only been a week, and we've had one light rainfall, but so far so good. I would recommend the product- especially since they have a 20 year warranty including cleaning if needed.

After doing some research on rain gutters online and by contacting other gutter installers I found that *** at GUTTER FILTER had the best product for the best price. The installers were very fast and did a quality job.
The gutter color matches the house so well that it is hard to see them.
GUTTER FILTER is a five star company that does a five star job.
We believe the wrong type of gutter was sold to us and installed on our house. We were told that gutter filter had a surgical steel screen that would allow leaves, seeds etc to blow away. We would not have any build up on the screen. The gutter that was sold to us is meant for houses that only need gutter for drainage this gutter is not meant for houses that have trees. I have several pictures of the gutter full of leaves, maple seeds etc. The gutters are leaking in several spots and in the winter this causes ice to build up in several areas, including on bushes that we had to replace causing additional cost for replacement and installation, also have ice building up on front steps and back deck. I have a couple of videos showing the leaking. Gary has seen these. Upon initial installation, it was noted some areas the install was incorrect and some areas not complete this was corrected within a couple of weeks. It takes several calls or emails to Gary *** to respond. This has been going on for 2-1/2 years without resolution. The purpose of the new gutter was because we are getting too old to go on the roof an clear the gutter. WE live in an are with several mature trees.
I am rejecting this response because: The facts that Gutter Filter stated are untrue. The problem is more than a "drip" it is more like a waterfall, he has seen pictures and videos. I have pictures of the gutter screen filled with leaves and seeds from the trees in our yard. The leaves and seeds do not just blow away as he said it was supposed to do. We have had to go the roof and clean the gutter several times since the "maintenance free" gutter was installed. The only time Gary came out was after we called and emailed several times. He does not come out willingly. The last time Gary and I spoke he was going to put us on the their schedule to reinstall the gutter at an angle in hopes that this would solve the problem. We never heard from him again. I have saved several emails that we sent and sometimes received from Gary regarding the wrong product being installed on our home. Again we would like this product removed and our money refunded. Dealing with this company has been a struggle, we are retirement age and need to have a product/company we can rely on. I have several pictures and videos to substantiate the claim.
We will be out to the house to look at it within the next 5 days

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 13253247, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. We will give Gary until the 7th (Friday) to come out, since in the past he has broken all promises to come out.
We have been out and reinstalled the gutter protection. After the installation, I personally went to their home. inspected it during a rain and took videos . There was no "leaking". No gutter protection guarantees that some water wont go over the front of the gutter but on my visit, the videos show that no water went over the gutter. We will always respond to our customers to ensure their product is working and will continue to do so with the Sanders. But we request that this complaint be closed as we have made the repairs and have confirmed its effectiveness
I am rejecting this response because: The last we spoke to Gary he was supposed to be out late fall to blow out the screens of the gutters, the leaves back up on the screens causing the rain to go over the edge of the gutter instead of in the gutter and to the down spout. Gary has been told to not come on our property without permission, so if he did come and taka a video as he claims he was trespassing. we have not seen the videos he claims to have taken of our house. We are home most days Eric is retired and I work from home so for Gary to call and get permission to come on our property would have been doable. I emailed Gary on 12/7 asking what his plan was and never received a response but this is very common for him not to return a email or phone call. Now with the colder temperatures when the sun causing the dripping onto our steps we have an ice problem. The dripping has ruined plants and bushes. We would like this resolved we have been more than patient.
