We are grateful to this consumer for their feedback and feel
that it is a beneficial tool in our drive to meet the expectation of  every client.

The clients original phone call was received on
May 6, 2014 requesting power washing and gutter cleaning.
·        
May 8, our office left voice mail and email
notification that we were going to come and complete service on May 9.
·        
May 9 - GPS records and field notes confirm that
we completed the service and no problems were noted.
·        
May 9 (Friday) the client sent an email stating
that we did not power wash the brick on the front of the house and that he
wanted us to recheck the cleaning
of the front gutters.

May 12 (Monday) our office responded in email
that we would have someone out.
·        
On May 14 we returned to do a recheck of the
front gutters and to power wash the front of the house  Our website highlights several services and is intended to
be a guide for our current and new clients to see the types of services that we
offer.
 Consumers are not able to “book” an appointment  without telephone or email correspondence
with our office staff so that we can get all details of the job up front.
When we receive inquiries for residential pressure washing,
we discuss in detail how the work is performed, what areas are to be washed and
a price. Clients are informed that generally we wash only the sides covered in
vinyl siding as power washing the brick may cause damage to the brick
(particulary at the corners) or the mortar.
We can only presume there was a break in communication that
created the disconnect between what the client was expecting and what work was
completed in our initial visit.
 Once we received his call back – requesting that we power
wash the front of the home and re-check the gutters, we had a crew back out to
his homethe next business day. 
We have provided this client with quality service, within a
reasonable time frame and price and responded expeditiously upon knowledge of
his complaint. 
Gutterman Services, Inc. is a family operated business that
has been servicing NOVA residents since 1986. We provide exterior replacement
and maintenance services for reasonable rates and have a client base of 49,000
consumers. It is our goal to satisfy the expectation of every client within
reason and make every attempt to remedy dissatisfaction on a case by case basis.
It is our hope that this client will contact us again in the
future.

Review: After researching many companies I contacted Gutterman Services to clean my gutters and power wash my townhouse based on their advertisement that they are Revdex.com A+ accredited and had received [redacted] list service awards. The website specifically states:

Our Gutter Cleaning service includes:

Hand removal of all debris in gutters.

Flush water through gutter and downspouts to remove and residual debris or clogs.

Tack-in of loose gutter spikes*.

Inspection of the entire gutter system.

Removal of all debris caused by the process.

and

We can power wash any exterior surface, including: siding, brick, roofs, gutters, decks, railings, furniture, and concrete, as well as driveways and sidewalks.

The day the service was to be completed I arrived home early from work so I was able to watch them perform the service. They setup ladders on the backside of the house and proceeded to power wash the house and, I assume, clean the gutters. I watched them take the gutters down and before I knew it, they had departed without performing any work on the front of the house. When I contacted the Gutterman office, I was informed the crew had accessed the front gutters from the rear of the house and that they did not power wash brick. I found it very suspicious that they would have accessed the front gutters from the rear of the house as it is a metal roof with a fairly steep pitch, it then came out that they did not flush the front gutters as they were supposed to so the crew was re-dispatched to flush the front gutters and perform a low pressure wash on the front of the house, which I was made to believe was not a normal service even though their website states differently. I was still charged the full amount for the gutter cleaning and power washing.Desired Settlement: I desire some sort of compensation for the fact that I was falsely led to believe according to their website that they power wash brick and if I had not been home to witness them not washing the front of the house and not flushing the front gutters, I would have been charged for work not performed. I'm still very suspicious if they actually cleaned my gutters as I have no way to confirm if the work was performed. Overall, their business practices for advertising one thing, power washing all surfaces, and then claiming they do not, has left me wondering how they have a Revdex.com A+ rating and received [redacted] awards.
