My husband and I rented a property through Guy Lloyd Property ManagementWe toured a house we were interested in back in June The house had garbage everywhere as well as issues with the propertyWe did somehow fall in love with the house and we were promised all issues including broken glass, broken fence, leaking roof, garbage, holes in the walls, as well as broken tile in the bathroom would be fixed BEFORE we move inMind you we moved in a month later, July They had a whole month to fix issuesWhen we moved in issues were not fixedKelly, the manager at Guy Lloyd, said she would send maintenance to fix the issues that were not done when we moved inThe house was not cleanThe yard was horrible, broken glass in the backyard and driveway that I had to clean up so my kids would not get cutThere were still broken windows we numerously told Guy Lloyd about that were in reach of childrenAfter living at the property for about a week we noticed more concernsThe bath tub and toilet were receding through the bathroom floor, there was a major hole in my daughters closet where the wall was literally crumbling awayAgain Kelly promised maintenance was going to fix the issuesMaintenance finally called to schedule an appointment with my husband and IAfter he came in and saw the damages he left and said he need to get approval to make the fixes and would be in touch with us that nightHe called the next day saying the fixes were DENIED because the fixes were too costlyHe started talking more to my husband and said that we needed to move the house was crumbling to the foundationAfter they talked for awhile he told my husband how he is quitting working for Guy Lloyd because he is not going to work for people like thatAnother two weeks went by before the new maintenance guy called us to set up an appointment which he never showed up to! The following day my husband and I were both at work when he called saying he was sitting outside of our house, so we had to leave work to get thereHe came in and looked around and took picturesBefore he left he said he would send maintenance out the following MondayAgain they never showed up and did not callMy husband called Stacy Hat the health department and Dan Ka city building inspector and made a report with both agenciesStacy discovered the house was worse off then what we even knew and said the house is basically uninhabitableMy husband and I decided since Guy Lloyd was not fixing anything, which they have already had since June to do, that we would be moving out with our two childrenThe health department said Guy Lloyd would not be able to rent that house out after we move because the living conditionsAfter we moved out we received a letter in the mail saying we owe them $for damages and months of rent! Do not ever go through this company!! the make promises, lie, and cheat people!!

Review: This is a leasing company that was contracted by the owner of the condo next door (shared walls) to the condo I own within a community. This company leased the property to rental tenants through Section 8 housing assistance beginning June 1st 2013. On the very first night these tenants lived in the property, we had to contact the police at 2 a.m. for excessively loud music shaking the walls and waking us and our baby. Since then there have been a multitude of problems with these tenants and I have spent countless hours on the phone with this company, consuming much of my maternity leave, trying to remove the tenants. The problems escalated to the woman threatening my life, along with a string of racial slurs toward me, after I yelled at her children for vulgar language (which includes the use of the "N" word, outside of our window. Most recently her previous significant other (against whom she filed for disorderly conduct previously), has moved in - along with 3 truckloads of (assumable) stolen baby goods (there is no baby). This man is a convicted rapist, registered sex offender, and violent criminal. Both of these individuals have an extensive criminal background, including 7 harassment restraining orders filed against the woman. The tenants have also smashed the glass of the front door, and have left it that way. We have called the police to their residence at least 3 times, including the time of the threats to me. In addition to her and this violent man, there are also at east 6 children living in the condo (which is barely big enough for me, my husband, and our small child and new baby), when she only reported herself and 3 children on the lease. This company is avoiding our property management company and refuses to work with us to remove this violent threat from my family and our community, that was placed here by them. The company boasts "tenant screening," but they clearly dropped the ball on this one, and refuse to take responsibility for, and correct their indiligence.Desired Settlement: We would like this company to take responsibility for this, and remove these dangerous people from our community.

I apologize, I forgot to include that they are in possession of my property, a flash drive – they will not speak to us to arrange to pick it up, and when we went in for it, the receptionist stated she didn’t know where it was and that they would call us back about it. We never received a call back, as usual, and I still do not have my flash drive back.
