June 29th, my 40hp Evenrueboat was dropped off for inspection because it would not startExplained to sales lady I wanted it checked out and to call me to let me know what was wrongCalled July 1, was told paperwork was not on her desk so they probably had not checked yet Called July 2ndshe said it was fixed with a price of $398.84.They were told to call with repair cost "before" any repair work was doneThey charged for hours labor for a small 40hp motor which should have only taken a professional mechanic minor less because they have a machine to analyze the problemThe invoice was billed on the 30th when she said the boat was not readyThis repair was done without authorization and when I asked for the defective part (the power pack) to be returned, she said it was in the boat When I got home, I checked the boat and it was not there I did business with them once before without any problem, but this time they ripped me off

They charged for 2.5 hours labor for a small 40hp motor which should have only taken a professional mechanic 30 min. or less because they have a machine to analyze the problem. The invoice was billed on the 30th when she said the boat was not ready. This repair was done without authorization and when I asked for the defective part (the power pack) to be returned, she said it was in the boat. When I got home, I checked the boat and it was not there. I did business with them once before without any problem, but this time they ripped me off.
