Review: I sold my Samsung Note 3 to Guzu in late June. I received notices that they received my phone and that my transaction was accepted, but I was never paid the $130 they agreed to for my phone. They told me I would be paid in 1-3 business days from the time my transaction was accepted. I have repeatedly e-mailed the company and I have been told on 3 separate occasions that I would have my money in 24-48 hours. Nothing has been received from this company. I believe they are fraudulent.Desired Settlement: I would like to be paid or have my phone returned to me. Although I believe they have already sold it.

Review: I sent in my phone products to recycle for money back in January 2016 and have never received payment. I have contacted them at least 6 times since my products were approved and always get an auto response saying I will receive payment shortly. I was supposed to get a check for over $200.Desired Settlement: I would like to get paid like I was supposed to or I would like my phones back.

Review: I mailed my phone to Guzu and they informed me that my phone was worth so much money. It agreed and Guzu informed me that my check would be mailed shortly for my payment for my cell phone. This was in late Oct. 2015. I have been in contact with their customer service and they continued to say that my payment would be to me shortly. For about four month laters after asking to speak with a supervisor or someone in charge. It never happened no one contacted me and they continued to say the same thing that my payment would be there shortly.

I have all of the emails still saved if needs to be reviewed for proof.Desired Settlement: I would like to be paid on the agreed amount and also some compensation for the 5 months I have been waited to be paid.

Review: Recently sold my iPhone 5 to Guzu for a guaranteed contraction all amount of $180.00 and they sent payment thru [redacted] and [redacted] has notified me 4 times that the account is fraudulent and insufiecent. After repeatedly contacting the customer service department they only give me the run around and I told them I want a check sent to my house or my phone returned. To which I was told the phone is sold. Therefore they sold the phone and kept my money.Desired Settlement: I want the money that the original contract stated I am to receive. $180.00

Review: I sent in my IPhone 5 to this company with a quoted price from them that they were going to send me once they received my phone. I received my check quickly with no delays. I took the check for 49.60 to a check cashing place and cash it. I take the money and go grocery shopping. I get a call 3 days later from the corporate office of [redacted] telling me that the check from Guzu Inc was worthless and that I have to pay back the amount of the check plus fees. I have tried to contact Guzu via email and they now want my back account info so they can deposit the money into my bank account. I will not be giving them my bank info. I can not afford to pay this money back because I am a single mom that works fulltime and does not get help from anyone. I can not pay back the 74.60 they say I owe them. I am very embarrassed by this whole matter. Guzu inc still has my iPhone and now I owe 74.60 for a broken phone I sent them. Last time I checked that was theft.Desired Settlement: I would like full reimbursement

Review: I sent my phone to Guzu, Inc. through Usell.com for an agreed amount of $123.20. I sent my phone in the last weekend of 4/**/14, I was told that I should get a check in a week. I then received an email stating I didn't turn off an app, I did get the app shut down, and I received an email stating I would be receiving a check in a week again. Needless to say I finally received my check last week 5/**/14, I took it in to my bank to cash it, they told me I had to deposit the check because of their policy and it would be available the next day. Today I received a letter from my bank stating "The check identified below that was deposited or cashed on your Wells Fargo account has been returned unpaid." It went on to say that there would be a hold put on the check. I called my bank and they told me that the issuer of the check said that they would make the funds available 5/**/14. I kept my end of the agreement, it is totally ridiculous that the company has my phone in their possession, but I don't have the money agreed upon. This is causing a negative effect on my bank account.Desired Settlement: Make the money available in the account immediately. Also send a check to balance out the negative effect.

I have received no more responses to emails and I still have not received a check.Desired Settlement: Guzu needs to send me the check that they promised me.

Review: We ordered 50 pieces of iphone 5s phones that cost us 13,815$ + shipping. the order took much longer than expected so we contacted the salesman or the owner (Hesam m[redacted]) he kept making excuses and postponing the order. for around 20 days (after the estimated time of arrival) it turned out that he didnt even ship it and the [redacted] tracking number that he sent us was a fake. since it didnt appear when we contacted [redacted]. then we ran out of patience and we asked him for a refund. on the [redacted] he said he would gladly do it and till this day. everyday we contact him he finds a different excuse on why he couldnt sent the money ( bank closed , doesnt have the money...etc..) and now he sometime responds and sometimes ignores me when I try to contact him so I think this is a scam that he did. and everytime we talked we talked over whatsapp he never answered his phone when we tried calling him.Desired Settlement: We want him to refund the money that he took from us which is 13,815$ + compensation for the damage that happened to my own company which is around 2,500$ because I lost a my own customer because of this issue.

I have visited the business in NY DeerPark on 8/**/2015 hoping that I would get my full refund, I had to leave my job for 2 days and I had to pay a roundtrip ticket from Miami to Newyork + Car rental + Hotel.Guzu has refunded me $4,750.00 only from the original amount. Leaving us with $9,065.00 that they still owe me. I am not going to demand a compensation for my time and money that I spent trying to retrieve my money. Review: GUZU.com basically stole my property, nevery paying me for it, OR returning my device. GUZU.com quoted me $105 for my iPhone 5, which was in mint condition and in working order. It arrived safely at their facility on August [redacted], 2015, and I was supposed to receive my $105 within one week's time through [redacted]. After one week came and went, I've been attempting to contact them via phone and email, but I do not EVER get a reply. After doing some digging, my stomach dropped when I found a pattern of GUZU.com either never paying up, or simply giving their clients bad checks - in essence, straight up stealing from an alarming number of customers. I'm baffled as to how this company is still in business.Desired Settlement: Pay me the $105 you quoted me, or return my iPhone 5 ASAP. If you do not comply, I will reach out to the local District Attorney's office in Deer Park, New York.

Review: We sent an i-Phone 5s to guzu around June **, 2015. we received an email notification the package was received on July [redacted], a notification email our order was approved on the same day and that a check was on the way for $450 also on July [redacted], 2015.

I have a second phone which was also sold to GUZU for the amount of $450.00 on 06/**/15 the Account# is [redacted] and Return # [redacted], I received the check for $450.00 dated 06/**/2015 it is written from Chase Bank with an account number of [redacted] which is the same account that I had received the insufficient funds check for the first phone I had sold to GUZU. Instead of depositing this check for the 2nd phone I took it to a Chase Bank and was told that the account is overdrawn and that if I attempted to deposit the check into my bank account it would also bounce. I am still holding this check as I do not want any additional bank fees.I have still not received the check that GUZU said they would mail as a part of the response to this Revdex.com request for assistance, I am afraid that it too will be a "Cold Check", I will provide a response once the check is received as to if it was also written from the same overdrawn account at Chase Bank.In short they still owe for 2 phones, the first was for $420.00 plus the $12.00 bank charge and the second is for $450.00, so altogether total of $970.00 for the two phones.I am sure I am not the only one with insufficient checks from GUZU as they are still advertising tremendously!! Review: I made the order 07/**/2015 with guzu to sale them a HTC One M8 phone for $140.00, they received the equipment, and on 07/**/2015 they sent me an email to [redacted] that they already processed the check under my name for the amount of $140.00, I waited 7 business days like it said on the email, and wrote them back. They never answered, I've been trying to reach them ever since, via email, contact us on the webpage and phone number, and they haven't responded any of my communications. I also moved to another apartment on 08/**/2015 and forwarded all my mail to be able to receive the check and nothing has come to the mail.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome will actually be for them to send me the payment, and get in touch with me so we can get to an agreement of the issue, and to answer all the communication they have been receiving from me.

Review: I sent a shipment of an iPad 3 to Guzu in the middle of June with the expectation of receiving $110 in compensation for this iPad. On July [redacted] I received a confirmation email that they had received my iPad and a subsequent email that my check for $110 was on its way to my home address. By July [redacted] I still had not received payment so I sent an email to their customer service department. I received a reply that I should have received my check by then (even though I had not) and that they would send me another one. However, by August [redacted] I had still not received any payment so I sent another email and called the number they gave me multiple times - I received not reply. Now that it is August [redacted] I still have not heard back from the and still do not have the money they promised they were sending me over a month and a half ago.Desired Settlement: I want Guzu to pay me the $110 that they owe me for my iPad ASAP and in check form (as they promised).

Review: The company promised me 315 dollars for my iPhone 5s

They received my phone on the [redacted] of October and they told me via email they would give me the 315 in my paypal account 1-3 business days!

It's been 8 business days and after 1 email saying they'd give me my money in 1 business days, it's now 3 business days and I've tried to contact them via email three different times and no response for two days!!Desired Settlement: I want my money(315 that was promised) or my phone back!!

Review: I sent in a smartwatch that was appraised at $75.00 from Guzu. I received a notice saying that they received my package, and that my device was approved. After that, I didn't receive any contact from them regarding payment.

After 2 weeks, I emailed their support department, and got a confirmation that they were reviewing it and would be in contact soon. That was over 1 month ago.

They have essentially taken my item, and I have no way of getting it back, or receiving payment.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my full payment, or have my item returned. Neither of which have happened yet.

Review: I received a bad check from this company for electronics I sold them. I called on 7/*/13 a representative stated that she would send me a replacement check in the amount of $40 plus $ 35 for any fees that I incurred. She stated that she would send the check priority mail and I should have it within 3 days. She also said would email me the tracking information. Its now 7/**/13 and I still haven't received the check or tracking information. I contacted Guzu on 7/**/13 and left a voicemail regarding this check, no response. I sent an email on 7/**/13 and got this generic message back stating that the company was in the process of moving and all checks would go out by 7/**/13.Desired Settlement: I want the $40 plus the $35 per the agreement.

Review: Received email from Guzu offering to buy old cell phones. I entered my data, they sent a pre paid UPS label, I mailed in my phone, and they emailed me saying they received my device. Guzu contacted me by email on November [redacted] saying my payment of $175 is on it's way. After 2 weeks of not receiving my check, they sent another email saying they were sorry for the delay, but that due to several fraud attempts on their accounts...their money is being delayed. They said they were working on getting me and other people who experienced bounced checks their money. I still haven't received my money or any further emails.
