Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/11/23) */
*** is a customer that has hit most print shops in the area and most refuse to work with him, wish I had known this before he arrived at my locationHe brought in very old and badley cut paper that we tried to salvage for him, spent hours on
a $job that we felt was as good as any one good doHe was not happy and either was I since we really triedThe so called high quality paper, really was garbage and the value he put on it was not realisticThis is my first Revdex.com complaint in the years of business, I hope other printers find out about *** and refuse him as soon as he walks in the doorWish it could have been handled better but there was no way to resolve his type of problems
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2015/11/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The owner of GWprinting has lied several times in his response to Revdex.com in regards to this complaintI have receipts from my paper purchases and have the printed ruined postcards he made, numerous of them...to show as evidence of both the high quality paper which was new at the time it was given to GWto print on, and the errors and mistakes GWmadeI went to another printer to have them reprint the entire order, costing me both my time, money for new paper, which took weeks to special order again, and money for the new printing, I have receipts of this tooIf GWprinters had any honor whatsoever, they would have admitted their mistakes, resolved my concerns, and agreed to print other items for meInstead they tried to give me a lowball amount of money to cover their mistakes, they referred to the highest quality paper in the business, as "***", and then refused to print anymore items for me
The paper he was given to print the postcards on was newly bought from fine artisan custom paper stores, many of which were special ordered, which were bought within days of bringing the paper to GWto print on; I have a receipt for all my paper purchases to prove thisGwcould attempt to continue to lie about the paper quality, but any credible person would laugh at such statements in the face of facts
The paper was the highest quality known in the paper business, costing to cents and above for each sheetSome of the paper came from large sheets that were cut down to printable sizes; GWprinting was given an opportunity to make any other cuts to the paper before printing on them, and didn't do so
The paper provided to GWprinting had no problems with it that had to do with the errors in questions on the part of GW2, namely, that they wantonly and recklessly cut the postcards wherever they chose, cutting into the postcards themselves rendering the majority of them uselessThe printing to the postcards was fine, it was the cutting that was the problem: GWprinting made haphazard cutsWhen I noticed this, the owner told me to "clean it up yourself"When I went back to the store for a refund, the owner tried to give me a mere $10, told me the paper was "***", refused to print anymore jobs for me, and then told me I could file a small claims action against GW
The problem with GWprinting is not the customer it's the final product they provided the customerAny reasonable person would never accept damaged product from professionals
In closing:
I have all receipts for paper and reprinting and I have the damaged printed postcardsA business that damages or doesn't provide quality, with mistakes and errors, is required to pay for those mistakes and errors; it's called liability
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2016/01/07) */
