Absolutely Horrible repair shop to do business with Will quote you prices for repairs when nothing is wrong with the vehicle Ended up with shock and strut parts, that cost roughly $250, that I was told needed to be repaired on my car Got a second opinion, and that was not the case! Shocks and struts were just fine Needed a transmission flush, and the "technician" failed to put enough transmission fluid in my car could have caused major damage if I didn't pay attention to the faint rattling noise coming from my hood Also, careless mistakes such as leaving the cap off of the oil reservoir after draining the oil, is an amateur mistake that I don't expect "properly trained" technicians to make They called themselves replacing a thermostat, and engine went completely hot after a few days They said the end part of the hose was broken What trained mechanic puts a broken hose back on a vehicle?? Instead of the service manager accepting responsibility for the mistake, he tried to blame it on a bad radiator hose, instead of maybe thinking that it may have not been attached properly Additionally, the service manager, David S., tried to renege on an agreement that I'd only have to pay for half of the cost of the radiator When I looked at the statement of charges the radiator cost was $300, but there was a yellow sticky note that said "Cust=$198." I still have that statement of charges with the yellow sticky note attachedI was not leaving paying "$198" because that was not half of the cost of the radiatorAdditionally, MrSsaid that I would not be responsible for any laborUltimately, I had to get the cops involved because of the ridiculous amount of dishonesty and unprofessionalism that had been going on at that point The sad part is that all of this happened and the service representatives were all aware of exactly what was agreed upon the day priorI asked the "Service Advisor" Jonathan M., about the higher charge twice, for which he refused to provide an answerI feel as a customer I had the right to know where that amount was coming fromThen he decided to finally TRY to explain where the higher charge came from, which "$198" was not half of anything on the statement of charges Finally, after all of the unnecessary back and forth, MrSstated "You can take that debit card, and go run it for $198." I stated "That was not what we agreed to and I'm not paying that because it is not half of anything on that statement of charges." Then he stated "You can take that debit card and go run it for $150." Completely unprofessional and disrespectful I maintained a copy of the statement of charges with the yellow sticky note, which I thought was very unprofessional in itself I highly advise that anybody who wants to maintain their vehicle in working condition does NOT conduct business with Gwatney I continued to bring my vehicle initially because it was still under warranty, and felt more comfortable going to the dealership because of the type of vehicle I have However, now I can completely avoid taking it to Gwatney GMC all together because of the build up of issues They are bad for business, and their professionalism is completely shot This business is being reported to the Revdex.com, and there was a complaint made to GM Please spare yourself the trouble, and go to a reputable service and repair shop
