After looking over [redacted] 's contract with GymX it does in fact state that she will have a " month to month" membership, this is listed in the miscellaneous portion of the agreement and may very well be the reason behind the misunderstanding between Mrs [redacted] and the front desk employee at the timeI will honor the month to month terms that Mrs [redacted] was given at the time of renewal and reinstate her membership to basiX as askedOn behalf of myself and the owner of the company we apologize for any inconvenience that may have occurred due to lack of communication and assure that this problem will be addressed for this matter and future situations If you have any further questions please contact me [redacted] Thank you [redacted] GymX fitness-Temple

Unfortunately none of what the member said is trueAll of our members are required to have a credit, debit, or checking account number tied to their account for automatic draftWe're unable to take a card off file, the system will not allow itIf they want to pay cash they are more than welcome to come in prior to their scheduled draft In regards to her getting charged extra when her drafts do go through, that is because every one of her drafts has been declined multiple times and was given a late feeWe do not collect the late fees, those all go to [redacted] If she wants to resolve her problem all she has to do is pay her dues in cash prior to the 20th of every monthThis will stop the draft for that monthI hope I was of some help, if there are more questions please feel free to reach back outThank you

I am rejecting this response because: I have asked more than once for my draft to be taken offI have recorded mutiple nsf fee's for them taking out on random datesNone of which I gave authorization forNo one has to have a auto draft set up for their account at his establishment and would like to see the fine print per my contractI have changed card numbers and bank account numbers to resolve my issue with this irresponible companyI've never been late and only collected nsf fee's when payment was taken from my acct on random dates I didn't authorize payment forWhich wasn't my draft date, and always before my draft datesVery unprofessional companyMany reviews specify the same complaint online.

I am rejecting this response because:Each time I contact the gym I am told to call back I called 7/26/and was told the contracts would be downloaded at midnight and to call backOn 7/27/I was told the contract was in the system and an account manager would call me back within the hourOf course, that did not happen. Though I turned in the cancellation form on 7/23/2017, the monthly payment and an annual fee were charged to my card on 7/25/and 7/26/2017, respectively ***, the billing company, stated any charges after 7/17/were made on behalf of Gym X

I have spoken with Mr. [redacted] to confirm that his account has been canceled. We also agreed that I will be issuing a refund for the last 2 months. This should resolve any further issues.
