In fact, the final price was substantially increased from the initial specific quoteThe price was increased by when the manager became aware that the car owner really needed to pick up the carThis decision to increase the price was made by the manager who was presentWhen a complaint was made, a minor reduction in price was made, but still substantially higher than quotedWhen this writer complained about the higher price than quoted, manager became rude and derogagatory and at one point reminded this writer that he did not care about courtesy (regarding no pay by secure credit by phone)and had a few police friends, again an intimidation to get the higher price paidThe business did not advise regarding any such no secure credit card by phone when this writer first called, only the second callNo rude or derogatory remarks were made by undersigned, only a complaint for lack of business courtesyThe higher price was coercive and the police were mentioned(Regarding the faulty repair, the repair was to a different vehicle from a relative who didn't want her name usedThe repair was faulty).The main concerns are bait and switch to higher than quoted price, coercion by reference to police, stating he didn't care about referrals, and finally the demeaning, u business like manner in which the business treated a customer.Regards,

An accurate quote was given over the phone and *** was informed of our policy of not accepting credit cards via phone by different members of our staff. After becoming agitated and making threats over the phone, *** arrived at our business and delivered a note with specific
statements intended to intimidate and continued to ask for what he termed "professional courtesy". No comments were made about not caring for referrals, and absolutely nothing derogatory was said during the conversation. Also, we have performed no repairs to *** vehicles according to our records and assume this bogus claim is just being made to further his complaint. Again, it has been at the request of our merchant services provider to maintain a policy of requiring the physical card belonging to the person using it be present at the time of payment

Review: My car was erroneously towed from a parking lot where I am a paying customer! I came out from the parking lot to grab my medication (I'm a type 1 diabetic since childhood) and my car was gone!! After initially thinking it was gone, I noticed the sign and called H & H. [redacted] hung up on me twice and was very rude, initially telling me that when the driver touched my car at 705 the car was ice cold. Then the story changed to my car being there overnight and then at 645! I wasn't in EL until 7! I parked far from other cars because someone smashed my mirror recently. The owner bragged that he "drives nice cars" and that he didn't believe my story about why I parked far away. I asked for some verification of the time and he couldn't produce any. He then told me they called it into the police, I asked what time that was and he said it was later on. I later spoke with [redacted] to determine my charges who informed me that the police had never been notified so I wouldn't be charged their fee. I have been between the coffee shop and Pizza House all day while my little sister takes care of some appointments in town. This is ludicrous! I deserve my $$ back!!Desired Settlement: 173.00
