H & D Auto Service

I bought a subaru engine and had H & D auto do the work of putting the engine in. I paid in full the amount owed, approximately $3000.00 dollars. While my car was parked on their property, it recieved damage to the drivers front corner fender and head light assembly. They told me that they were not sure what had happened and that there are alot of service trucks delivering parts to their property and that they couldn't be certain of what happened. So, thinking it wasn't going to affect the driveability of the car, I drove off with the newly replaced engine that I had them install. After 300 miles, the vehicle broke down. They would not pay for the tow and I was 300 miles away. I trailered the vehicle back to their shop for the cost of $250.00. They analyzed the problem with the new engine and said that it needed new head gaskets. Since I had purchased a $99.00 labor warranty (the max.) that would cover up to $600.00 worth of labor, I thought everything would be taken care of. After all, the engine was compression tested before put in. They told me that I owe them $600.00 more dollars after work was complite.
