Re: Complaint on HD Realty for property at [redacted] Longwood, XXXXX

Dear Ms. [redacted]

I would like to thank you for offering to assist me with the responsibilities HD Realty has very little regard, as a Property Management company. My issues are many and began when I leased a condominium through HD Realty, while choosing to relocate to this area. The lease was signed on August 27 and the property was turned over to me in an "AS IS" condition, on August 31, with numerous items requiring repairs the Property Manager - [redacted] is taking forever to correct. Although I requested the unit checked out prior to moving my furniture from out of town and leaving the unit empty for a month for easy access without interruptions, the only thing done during this time frame was, locks on doors and front door repairs so it closed properly. The response being, "we have the renter fill out a property inspection sheet, then we take care of the issues". Well, it is now the middle of December and I continue to find issues and wait forever for repair.

Most importantly, at this time, I am not able to use the 2nd bathroom shower, needed during the holidays when my daughter visits. It was reported on October 31st and below is the timeline of the service provided:
November 11th - first response from Ms. [redacted] advising the gentleman who works for HD Realty was out of town and would contact me upon his return.
November 20th - Handyman Dave called scheduled visit for November 25th.
November 25th - Dave on property, unable to repair due to water shut off to unit could not be found and may need to be shut off to all 4 units (see attached photo of water shut off directly in front of building with BIG RED sign). Would need to advise Ms. [redacted] to have a plumber do the work.
December 11th - NO contact from Property Manager since 4 weeks ago, received call from [redacted] Plumbing to schedule repair.
December 12th - Plumber on property, unable to repair due to water shut off to main shut off valve to 4 units in very poor condition and could cause considerable amount of damage if attempt to shut off. Would need to notify Property Manager.
