We sent The *** out a contract via email on 8-26-She scanned us a signed copy of the contract on 9-7-We did not receive her deposit until 9-29-via regular mailWe schedule our jobs from the time we get the deposit back so 6-weeks from 9-29-would bring us to mid to end of
November which she was told via email on 10-14-16. We did not communicate during 9-7-thru 10-14-because nothing had changed from what the customer was told that it would be scheduled from 6-weeks from the time we received deposit. On November 28th we told her that we would be out that week to start and complete the job. She responded “That’s Great” and was told that Nick would be out to have her choose stone colors from actual samples that he had. He likes to do this in person because looking at color chooses online or in catalogs does not show the true colors We attempted various ways to contact and schedule a time on 11-30-to pick color chooses and we were ignored. We emailed, we called several times both myself from the office and Nick from his cell phone and were never returned a call. Our intentions were they were to pick a color that afternoon/evening and we would pick them up Thursday at 7:a.mand be on job-site by and completing the wall that same day. So without picking color we were unable to proceed with jobWe at no point denied doing the workNever heard back from customer until demanding their deposit back on 12-18-at 10:p.mI emailed back the morning of 12-19-stating that their deposit is not refundable and that is when we heard from Mr*** by phone call asking when the job could be scheduled. I mentioned to Mr*** that we had commitments to other customers and were scheduled out thru the end of the year, after ignoring our attempts to choose colors on 11-30-16, we had to schedule other work ahead of them. I told Mr*** that we would be happy to get it scheduled weather permitting first of the yearThe job is a dry layed stone wall and can be successfully done in colder temperatures. I explained that to him and told him that if the weather would become severely cold with sub-zero temperatures we would be forced to schedule it for Early March. We have no control of what the weather has in store so we have to schedule accordingly. If they had not ignored our attempts to pick color chooses on 11-29-this project would have been completed almost a month ago which would of fallen in the time line that customer was told initially. As far as the deposit our contract clearly states that the deposit is non-refundable. We responded every time within hours on the same day or at the latest within hours when there was something to respond to. We are always up front with customers with our time line of scheduling jobs out. Our schedule always takes us out 6-weeks. The ***s were always aware of when the job would be done and never showed any kind of dis-satisfaction of how our company operated. If that wasn’t the case Mrs*** would not have replied “THAT’s GREAT” when she was told that the job would be started the week of 11-28-

First of all let’s start and say this patio is 8 yearsold.  Within the first year of ourinstallation (2007 and 2008) we did return phone calls and met with customerand did our best to satisfy customer.   We have just recently heard back from herwithin the last 2 worst winters that...

[redacted] has not experienced in 30years. Of course you will have some stones and cracking of mortar joints comeup after that type of cold and severe temperatures. And 8 winters gone by.  This is routine maintenance that a home ownerwill have with a stone patio. We believe that the issue of water coming in a roomunderneath is happening for two reasons the concrete base and brick walls whichwhere not installed by our company.  Weplaced the stones on the existing concrete base.  The base was not sloped (for water to drainoff) at ALL and we tried to slope as much as possible with the mortar bed thatour stones were laid in.  Also the bricksthat were used again installed by another contractor were very porous andrequire a certain type of sealer to prevent water being absorbed through thebrick.   This customer needs to complainwith the general contractor that installed the addition and laid the patio baseand outside brick walls. As far as the uneven areas, its natural stone and youwill have that. We went into detail with Mrs. [redacted] about keeping up with aproper stone stealer every year to try and maintain water from coming in.  The numerous times we did return to visit thesituation the owner omitted it had not been re- sealed.  Our company sealed the first winter and afterthat it was the customer’s responsibility. We feel that we did supply customer’s service to Mrs. [redacted]to the best of our ability for the work that was performed by our company andgave her a quality job.  Are excellentrating with Revdex.com reflects that
