H & H Diesel Performance

After spending a good deal of money with this company and taking months longer to repair the vehicle than what was said, I cannot seem to get the owner to give me my receipts of work preformed and parts installed The job started around November and the last check I wrote for it was on 4-5- After repeated trips to his shop, many many unanswered phone calls/messages I cannot get my final receiptsI've given him my email address, mailing address and have driven out to his shop (miles round trip) so many times I've lost count, all to get my receiptsHe, John Hughes, tells me he is either still working on them or he has sent them and to allow time for mail deliveryIts been weeks and now he is the one mad at me for continuing to ask for my receiptsCan I please ask for your help on this issue? Thank you

MrHughes is a fountain of information He is very knowledgeable, personable and does an amazing job on my diesel truck as well as several people I have sent to them The only negative thing I can say is that they are terrible about returning calls I find it best to go directly to the shop to set up an appointment or to talk to them

I recently brought my Ford diesel pickup to H & H diesel for repairs of an oil problem They had the truck over a month, diagnosed the problem wrong, did $2,in unneeded repairs, and then told me my engine was shot After getting the truck back from H & H Diesel, I took it immediately to *** *** where the diagnosed the problem in a couple hours, fixed it in a couple days, and assured me that my engine was just fine In this case I believe H & H was trying to do the right thing, and wasn't trying to do unneeded repairsBut their diesel diagnosis proved to be utterly worthless and incompetent The problem with the truck was not very complex, and did not require any special equipment by Ford to figure it out (the removed a valve cover and heard hissing from the oil leak) I have contacted H & H asking them to "do the right thing" and refund at least half ($1,000) of my bill I have not received a response Receipts from H & H Diesel and from *** ***,

Very nice owner, but have had multiple bad experiences with the business. The owner doesn't follow through on promises made. I'll be finding a new mechanic.
