I have been contacted by the sales manager at Barry's Auto Group who has made me this offer.There is plan in place for tomorrow, however I cannot accept this response at this time until something has actually happenedI have received many assurances from them so far and they have not been fulfilledMoreover, I do not "understand" the offer they have madeRather, I have requested a refund and they have refused to return the car and refund my moneyInstead, they have offered to make further attempts to repair the carThis is not my preference, but rather their choice of resolution So has yet to be determined if their resolution proves to be satisfactory or not

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # *** is the one that is confused, and he is trying to confuse you as wellThere are parts to the story to this story , the first one is with *** *** ***i bought my car on February 24, and I had a day warranty, therefore Barry's Auto Group did fix my carTold me the bill is free of charge which came to *** did not tell me that he used the Car *** *** planBy *** doing this Barry's Auto Group did not pay for my Alternator I did because took my money from the Car *** ***This is why I didn't get back the money that is owed to me from *** *** ***This has nothing to do with the Sales Tax, *** is trying to confuse you like he is trying to confuse meI called *** and they tell me its Barry's doing not there's, they only do what is told to them to do, they had no idea the car is under warranty and they are not responsible for rest of the money that is owed meI paid for this Insurance, which I only had for a year and a halfThe was financed for yearsI have paid off my loan with the bank so the money that is owed is mine

Yes she tried to return the unit within the time frame, but we refused to accept the unit because it was used

In response to Ms*** complaint, Ms*** purchased her *** in March of 2017, she returned months later stating that her vehicle had recently stalled. Her vehicle was very low on oil and we diagnoses that as being the cause of the stallShe left and we didn't hear from Ms
*** for another months and 3,miles, she called and said the vehicle had stalled again. We did some online research and noticed that over 70,of the same vehicles had experienced the same exact issueWe recommended the customer go to *** dealer for further diagnosis as they have specific equipment that we do not have to diagnose the vehicleSince they were out of warranty anyway and purchased an extended service contract the best course of action for them was to go to the dealer regardless of how much they charge for diagnosis. The two issues although similar in nature are caused by two completely separate things and are therefor mutually exclusiveWe of course apologize that Ms*** is having an issue with her new vehicle but this is a prominent issue with this vehicle and well documented online even though there is not a formal recallThe current best course of action is to bring the vehicle to the manufacturer dealer and have it diagnoses there and hopefully her extended warranty will cover the issue

Respectfully this customer is trying to get money back after he recently totaled his car which he made me aware of on the 27th of June after only having the car for weeks He had one small issue with his vehicle in regards to a check engine light which we fixed immediately There was
nothing done to his odometer, and never did he mention a problem with his odometer before he totaled his vehicle He does have GAP insurance which will pay the lender the full amount as he financed his warranty There is no money to give back as the GAP insurance will kick in and pay the lender the full balance owed on the car

This customer continues to change her story in regards to the issue she is having The first time was that we overcharged her, now it has to do with a service contract We adhered to what we were supposed to do and I have tried to explain this to the customer on multiple occasions but she comes into the dealership, we sit down, I begin to explain the situation and she gets up and leavesI apologize that she is very confused, but we fixed her car using the *** warranty she purchased, beacue thats what they are intended for, I will be happy to sit with Ms *** again and go over it with her but we are not responsible for anything monetarily

Our policy of for refunds is the following: The product must be returned within days in the original box and unusedThis customer tried to return a grill that was usedWe tested the grill and found it to be working properly, but could not offer a refund because the product was used

Unfortunately I have to stand by my first response which Revdex.com upheldThe vehicle had issues that we had to address prior to hearing the wheel bearingThe wheel bearing is in a completely different area from the shock, the shock was clearly leaking and had to be replaced and it does indeed make a loud sound making it difficult to hear as you mentioned the very faint sound from the wheel bearing Our prices are incredibly competitive as we have the lowest labor rates for factory trained technicians in Newport County and we have price matching that we offer, had you told us a different price with a printed quote we would have gladly matched that priceUnfortunately we really cant cover issues for customers after a year of owning the car We would love to make every car brand new but that's simply not possible, every car however absolutely passes state inspection and coming back a year later with a wheel bearing issue or shock issue is well within the regular maintenance to a year old car I want to be clear that we are very sorry for the misunderstanding, had we just did the wheel bearing I'm afraid you would have had an issue with us not repairing the shockI am glad to offer you free oil changes in the future however I can cover a repair that was needed and agreed to.Sincerely, *** ***

I am not sure who responded on behalf of Barry's, however I have been waiting for a return call from the owner from last labor day , if we want to get technical. My car as we speak is being fixed by another shop for the same part barry's repaired the last time it was in. By the time I got home the new oil line was leaking again. I refuse to have them touch this car again, because every time it goes in for one thing, it is returned to me with a new problem. I received a list from the warranty company showing all my claims which I will be looking over , because most of my repairs were not covered. They tried helping me exactly twice with trying to get me out of this car, back in January when it was in for a repair, I received a call telling me they can try to put me in another car. I told the gentleman that called me, it would be something I would think about,  and I would speak to them when I went to pick up my car. However, when I went my boyfriend went in, I stayed outside and he specifically told them NO, we would not be getting  another car from them. Following that I received 2 letters from 2 different banks stating they could not approve me for a loan at this time. When I called [redacted] Credit Union to see who tried to get a loan for $19359.00 in my name, I was informed that Barry's had tried. I never stepped foot into Barry's to discuss another loan with them, nor did I signed any paperwork authorizing them to try. Later that week I received another denial letter from another bank, off hand I cannot remember which one, but I will be pulling my credit report today as well to see. And the 2nd time they tried helping me I also refused back in April to sit with their salesman. One part that was previously replaced (mass flow Sensor) did not even need replacing, over $500 I was charged I picked up my car only for it to be making the same noise prior to the repair, I brought it right back instantly. Next day I'm told it was another part. I questioned why the other part was replaced if that wasn't the issue and was told they have to follow error codes. It's always something with this place, nothing is going to be solved through messages, I have all paperwork and today I will be meeting with my lawyer, and he can take it from here. THE FACT ALONE THE COOLANT FAN HAS BEEN REPLACED 4XS SINCE JULY IS A RED FLAG ALL IN ITS SELF. WHY ARE THEY NOT TRYING TO GET DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF WHY THIS FAN KEEPS BREAKING. I ASKED AND WAS TOLD AT LEAST YOUR NOT PAYING FOR IT EACH TIME BECAUSE IT'S COVERED UNDER WARRANTY . NOT THE POINT I'M STILL PAYING THE $100 DEDUCTIBLE EACH TIME , ALONG WITH THE COST OF A CAR RENTAL. SO EITHER THERE IS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR, WHICH THERE IS OR THEIR TECHNICIANS ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO BE WORKING ON [redacted]S. I UNDERSTAND IT'S A PRE-OWNED VEHICLE, BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. NOT ONE OF THEM WOULD BE DEALING WITH THIS AND BE OK WITH IT. THEY KNOW IT AND SO DON'T I. I'VE ALSO CONTACTED CAPITOL ONE AUTO , THEY ARE ALSO AWARE OF THE PROBLEMS I'M HAVING. I WANT OUT OF THIS CAR AND LOAN.

 I reported this to Revdex.com because the original receipt was not given and obviously this business can not keep track of a 48 inch lowboy on its orihinal packing come and go. There were 4 emplyees present to inspect the product. Unfortunately this dispute seems to be going nowhere.

It was not used.  We tried and it did not warm since I covered by the implied guarantee I should get my money back.  I was told that if in the future the machine breaks I sould bring it to fix it.  I did not expect to buy an item that was defective from first day.

We instructed the customer to bring the vehicle in and leave it with us so we could verify the concern and if need be tear the vehicle down to identify the problem.  He has not yet set an appointment to do so.  Waiting for the call customer to call us.

4 people at location who witnessed the item returned and out of the 4 people 3 employees inspected the return. The gentlemen with short dirty blonde hair even called the office to state that "the product doesnt even seem like it was removed from packaging and also that the lowboy is on its original pallet." He also went on with the phone conversation to say "i dont think that would fly if that is the refund amount." Please dont lie about not receiving the return because your sales rep was with 2 customers and also was aware of the return.
