H & H Laundromat Reviews (4)

I am appreciated for an opportunity to explain following: There are appropriate signs posted on the wall of the Laundromat in two places-one next to the front door, another othe middle of the dryer's nowThe signs inform everybody: "For better service, because they are always busy but not profitable, these dryers can be used only by customers who washed their clothes in this laundromat"(see photos)According to the rules of the business the sidewalk and window has to be free from signs even a lot of other things need to be posted-such as restroom only for customers, change machine only for customers and so onSurveillance cameras record shows the money are always refundedOwner of H&H Laundromat

Thank you for affording me an opportunity to explain following: The business, premises and equipment of the Laundromat are private propertyAccording to the Low as the owner of the property I have right o refuse service to anyone at any time without any explanationThere is the sign on
the front door of the Laundromat "Last Load in at 6:PM", so customers who starts the machines at that time can finish their job before 8:PM when the Laundromat must be closedSomeone who comes about 6:PM without laundry and has not enough time for bringing clothes and starting machine at appropriate time can't be allowed to do it. Sincerely,The owner of H & H Laundromat

I am rejecting this response because:he owner asked if I had clothes yo wash and I said yes. She then responded by asking with a condescending tone, "Then, where are your clothes?". I responded saying that my clothes were in my car and that I would first get change. The point is I arrived 1 hour and a half before closing time. I had plenty of time to do my clothes and leave. However, the door was locked and as I knocked I was refused entry and interrogated which wasted almost 15 minutes.  I will also include that Everyone else already in the washerette was white and I am African american. I cannot make any claims on racism but it did feel like discrimination. Furthermore, I did not like being treated like some street straggler. It was embarrassing and very unexpected.  Furthermore, I'd like to know why the doors were locked when the business was still open. That just screams that you don't want any business.

I am appreciated for an opportunity to explain following: 1. There are appropriate signs posted on the wall of the Laundromat in two places-one next to the front door, another one-in the middle of the dryer's now. The signs inform everybody: "For better service, because they are always busy but...

not profitable, these dryers can be used only by customers who washed their clothes in this laundromat"(see photos).2. According to the rules of the business the sidewalk and window has to be free from signs even a lot of other things need to be posted-such as restroom only for customers, change machine only for customers and so on.3. Surveillance cameras record shows the money are always refunded. Owner of H&H Laundromat
