Telephone response obtained from company as follows: The company stated they did a home inspection on 8/27/16, the city inspectors went out on 8/29/and sited a few minimal adjustments that needed to be addressedThe company stated they had an appointment scheduled and needed to reschedule itThe company stated they attempted times to go out and perform the adjustments needed but the consumer refuse to cooperate

Thank you for forwarding Mr***’s complaint to our attention
This project was completed last January under extremely difficult weather conditions
The ground will settle over time and finish landscaping was not part of the initial scope of
services provided by our company.
However, on June 30th (prior to this complaint being filed) we agreed via phone with Mr***
to return and provide further landscaping services to the property within the next two (2) weeks.
This will be done as a gesture of goodwill, and at no additional expense to Mr***A
follphone call was made to Mr*** on Monday, July 7th confirming work would be
done this week, within our initial two (2) week window
Taking into consideration that this matter was amicably resolved prior to this complaint being
filed, we request that it not be listed on our permanent Revdex.com recordIn speaking with Mr***
this morning, he was in agreement as well

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

HJacks had already come out several times and "repaired"Each time it was not fixed properly as stated that it wasOn the final scheduled appointment HJacks cancelledWe discovered that on visit dated 8/27/as stated in invoice # *** Line #( see attachment already sent previously)that the city of Mentor had not inspected and unit was NOT up to city codeUpon further contemplation we decided to call the city and have them come out at our request to inspect(See current attachment)There were several violations NOT up to city codeWe were told information about the install being "properly installed up to city code"We choose another company to make the necessary repairsHJacks does not seem credible to usTelling us it was up to city code when clearly it was notWe are seeking monetary resolve

Thank you for your attention, we really appreciate it In January, when the pipe work was complete, we were told that someone would be returning in the spring to fill the hole in the yard No one returned In May we began to call to ask when they would be back We called or times before filling the complaint We are not asking for finished landscaping, but to simply return to finish filling the hole in the yard The hole is deep enough that the foundation of the house is exposed We have spoken to the owner of the company and would be happy to rescind the complaint when the work is finishedWe are hoping to have it completed before the city of Maple Heights follows through on their threat to fine us
