Upon hearing of Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, I explained to him that I could not rectify the problem directly since the policy in question was a registered investment contract.  I requested that he give me some time to go through the proper channels to get the situation resolved.  Unfortunately, I was initially told by National Life Customer Service that the problem was handled and that the consumer, Mr. [redacted], was satisfied--therefore, I considered that the complaint was complete.  When I was informed by the Revdex.com that the complaint was not in fact resolved, I contacted the Compliance Department at National Life.  They were unresponsive with regard to getting information on whether or not the paid in advance insurance charges were going to be reversed on his surrender as coverage was not used.  To date, I still don't have a definitive answer.  The attached correspondence has been sent from my broker-dealer, [redacted] for full restitution of his allegations amounting to $327.00.  Kindly restore my accreditation as this single blemish should not affect my rating.  This is my first incident in 37 years of practice with thousands of satisfied customers.
