Construction company will not complete the house they were contracted to build. They left the sump pump unplugged which caused flooding. Contract signed November 2016. I call, they don't answer or return messages. I text, they don't text back. Crown moulding needs replacing, roof on small shed needs to be put on, kitchen/living room flooring needs replacing from flood damage, doors need to be rehung, drywall tape needs replacing, kitchen floor not level, kitchen cabinets all have staple holes in them, Sump pump needs to be added to the circuit breaker box where it is accessible. Work began in February of 2017, in summer of 2017 no work was done for 6 weeks even though we had dry working conditions. The only way I have been able to get them to do any work is when I email the office manager and then workers come out and only do one or two things then that process starts all over 2 weeks later. The last time any workers showed up was April 13 and all they did was put a door on a shed. I estimate the finish work will take 4 hours at most.

Everything on this property was completed prior to owner moving in. Owner has since added a small shed under a back porch which was added approximately 2 weeks ago due to the fact that the house is built in a known flood area we had to install a sump pump under house to attempt to keep GROUND water from coming up under house because water table is so high, pump did work itself loose and came unplugged, was repaired immediately, customer does not call me nor text me for me to ignore, customer does email Office or call Office which is standard. There are a couple of issues that water under house did cause and we are working to repair but as you can see by the list of supposed problems and then estimate of 4 hours to complete you can see what we are working with here. We always have and always will stand behind our work.

In response to Mr *** comment that everything was completed upon my occupancy in the house is untrue. Everything was not completed and that is what generated this complaint. If I would have waited for them to complete the home, I still would not be living in it. The sump pump was not repaired immediately. In my complaint this is what I meant by they didn't answer emails, texts or phone calls so the crawlspace ended up being completely flooded and burned out the water heater. He is correct in saying that I don't call him. He passed my building project onto his building supervisor. That person is the one I communicate with. Although I did send some emails to him that I thought he should be notified of. Two workers came Thursday and Friday and worked a total of six hours and got a lot of the work completed. There are still a couple things that need to be done but an electrician needs to come in and a drywall person needs to come in. I have been promised that that will be done within the next two weeks.
