This writer purchased a three piece black wicker porch set from the owners of H M Bargain Outlet located in Wilson N.C. and paid $80.00 in cash for it on June 11, 2015 with the understanding that this writer would come and pick up the merchandise when it was convention for her sister because her sister had a pick up truck and this writer didn't. The Hispanic male owner stated that there would be no problem since the merchandise was paid for and it would be kept in the back room until this writer returned to pick it up. This writer as well as her sister called on multiple occasions after the purchase to let the owners know the status of the pick up date. This writer nor her sister was ever able to make contact. The number kept going to a [redacted] phone. This writer and her sister left multiple messages with no return follow up phone calls. On the Sunday before the fourth of July this writer traveled to the place of establishment and spoke with the owners to let them know the status of the pick up date. Again, I was told not to worry, the merchandise would be available when I came to pick it up. On one occasion my sister drove to the establishment because we could never reach anyone on the phone. Upon arriving she found the business closed. On August 7 2015 at ten o'clock in the morning my sister and her daughter traveled to the establishment with the pick up truck to pick up my purchase upon arriving my sister noted a wicker set sitting on the yard identical to the one I had purchased. She spoke with the Hispanic male owner and asked him if the wicker set was for sale and how much. He stated it was and it was eighty dollars. She then stated to him that her sister had bought one just like it in June and paid cash for it and she had the receipt and had come to pick it up. His wife then in return told my sister ""No she lose it, she take two months to come pick it up, she lose product and money, no refund. Two months would not have been until the eleventh day of August.Product_Or_Service: 3 piece black porch wicker setDesired SettlementI would like to be refunded my money for the product I paid cash for with the understanding that it would be kept in storage until I returned to pick it up. I have a [redacted] receipt as well as a business card the Hispanic male owner gave me with his information on it. I can also produce cell phone and house phone transactions showing the number of times my sister and I attempted to reach the individual by phone. I just would like my money back please.Business Response Customer came in on June 11,2015 and purchased a black wicker set in the amount of $80.00. Customer stated that she did not have a pick up truck to pick up. Customer was made aware that all items paid for must be picked up within 3 days. There are posted signs throughout the establishment also on the front door before you walk in and behind the counter. Customer failed to leave messages on answering machine and failed to pick up within the 3 days allowed. Item should of been picked up by June 14, 2015 not June 28 as stated by the customer. There are posted signs of the establishments hours of operations as well. Customer has exceeded the allowed time to pick up item. Consumer Response This writer is not in agreement with the above statement and has a witness to the effect that the above statement is not true. At, no time was this writer or her sister ever made aware of a three day pick up policy nor any three day pick up signs posted anywhere throughout the establishment or on the front door and behind the counter. These signs were not pointed out to this writer or her sister physically or verbally. This writer and her sister are able to produce evidence from their cell phone provider of each time the establishment was called and the length of the call as well as a [redacted] receipt and a business card with the male proprietor's information on the back of it. This writer did not state in her previous conversation with the Revdex.com that she attempted to pick up the product on June 28th as the proprietor states. On the day my sister went to the establishment by herself to pick up the items in question she stated to me via phone that there was no hours of operation posted on the door. I would like for the establishment to be aware that if I am not refunded my money I will be filing a claim with [redacted] small claims court.
