My office has spoken with the [redacted] about this issue numerous times. First off the amount in dispute is $1,800.00 not $18,000.00. The second misunderstanding is that they agreed to the work on the chimney, which was done, and they paid...

the $1,800.00 for that repair. I asked for the money upon the completion of the job. H&O Roofing never came in and took their money and ran, as a business of 15 years that is not how we operate. The problem came up when the work was completed and upon my inspection, I wasn't completely satisfied with the way the chimney looked, even though we fixed the problem with the chimney. I informed them, that I would need to get with my carpenter and come back to fix the appearance of the chimney. As the season has gone on, this project has been pushed to the backburner. I realize this is frustrating for them, but I need to complete projects with customers who are having serious issues, before the weather turns. My office never agreed to give them a refund of $1,800.00 for work that was completed. However, as a show of good faith, I agreed to refund them $300.00 for their patience when I completed their project. I intend to get back to their chimney in the next couple of months before winter sets in. I can understand their frustration with the timeline of this project, but I am also frustrated that I am being portrayed as a crook, when I am no such thing.
