Review: I signed a contract with H.O.W. tree trimming. For $1,200 to trim a tree at my home. To be paid $100. Per month. I paid the first payment at the time we made the contract. One month later they came and cut one branch of the tree and promises to come back in 2 weeks to finish the job and take all the trash. They never showed up so I call them. They promised to come back on the 16 of this month. Have not heard from them. I call and left massages no respondDesired Settlement: For them to finish the job and pick up the trash the have in my back yard

Review: I contracted H.O.W. to take down a tree, haul away the tree and grind the stump. The date of the contract is August 4, 2014. As of September 23, the haul away and stump grinding has not been completed. The branches and wood from the tree that have not been removed are ruining the lawn and are an eyesore in the neighborhood. Ten phone calls and 4 promises have not yielded and results.Desired Settlement: Grind stump, haul away the tree. Repair lawn damage depending on an assessment after tree removal..

Review: Company has not responded to the following letter, sent by mail on April 22, 2014:

On March 5, I received a bid for landscaping work at my house, -REDACTED- (Contract no -REDACTED-). We placed a downpayment and were told the work would be scheduled in a few days and we would be contacted.

On March 10, having not been contacted about the scheduled date, and having someone available to do the needed work immediately, I contacted your office by phone and asked to cancel the service and have my down payment refunded. I was told this would be done by the program director that afternoon.

The cancellation seems to have occurred, as no crew showed up at my house expecting to perform the work. I have not, to date, received a refund of the down payment for services not rendered.

I do not know your payment schedule for the processing of these refunds. When should I expect my $175 down payment to be refunded?
