*** *** bought the vehicle 6/18/after her previous vehicle was deemed a total loss by the insurance companyAt the time of purchase we offer to all of our customers the possibility to purchase a warranty, but she declined itShe is saying the vehicle was sold to her with no motor oil,
its a known fact that an engine with no oil will lock up immediately, not after a couple of days or weeks or months.By 7/28/we received a call from the owner of a private property explaining that the vehicle had been abandoned there for about days, and they were fixing to impound itAt that moment we recovered the vehicle, and tried contacting *** *** Finally in 8/11/her boyfriend called the office he said he was concerned that he had not seen her for a while, we also contacted the sister, father, and we had no way of contacting herIn 8/15/they came to the office and we told them that when the vehicle was recovered we inspected the condition of the vehicle and noticed the engine was locked upShe mentioned she had taken the vehicle to a mechanic who told her about an oil leak, she declined to repair the vehicle at the momentThis explains the reason why the vehicle failed on her. Our business policy is to offer help to our customers in times of need, so even though we are not obligated to finance or repair any vehicles sold as is (without any warranty) we offered the possibility to repair the vehicle for her, we even offered financing options for the repairs, but she declinedUnfortunately we can not be responsible for negligence in her part, by knowingly not taking care of the vehicle when she noticed a problem

I am rejecting this response because: I have not received a single call from lofi motors I will provide my call records as proof . I did speak with the manager tony and he told me that there was no way in hell that I would get into another vehicle or a refund of the down payment , I told tony I did it feel comfortable with him using foul language and then a few seconds later he threatend to call the police on me if I did not leave this business is very unprofessional and I have a feeling I'm not going to get anything out of it they have my money and the vehicle and a brand new radiator I paid for I also have receipt as proof I will appreciate it if you could please look into in more this is very wrong , lofi motors is conducting fraudulent business and needs to be investigated

Dear valued customer,   We are sorry you experienced an issue with your 2010 [redacted]. Let us remind you that we insisted you, just like we tell all of our customer to perform a test drive and have the vehicle inspected and test by people you trust to make sure the vehicle was in...

good condition. We are unable to guarantee used vehicles to perform like new vehicles, for that reason we offer during the time of contract the opportunity to purchase an extended warranty. Our EXTENDED WARRANTY CONTRACT that covers ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, DIFFERENTIAL, BRAKE SYSTEM, SUSPENSION, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, COOLING SYSTEM, AC SYSTEM, ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE, TOWING, AND CAR RENTAL. They are accessible for all budgets since terms start at 1 month of coverage and as much as 4 years of coverage. But you decided to waive the warranty, at that time we reminded you that the sale would be AS IS, and NO WARRANTY implied. The vehicle was purchased in JANUARY 21st 2017 and in FEBRUARY 14th 2017 you called asking if we could look at the vehicle since you were experiencing mechanical problems with it. We called a wrecker service and explained to you that we needed to see what happened to the vehicle to be able to determine what is needed to repair it.  When the vehicle was inspected by our technicians we found the TRANSFER CASE of the transmission BROKEN IN HALF. Clearly this was not the condition the vehicle was sold in. It would have been impossible to drive, and/or it would have been clearly under performing.   The next day you came over to our offices, demanding to speak to management or the business owner. Unfortunately you missed us both since we had left for a business meeting. It was informed to you that you could wait to meet with them later that day or schedule an appointment for any other day. You decided to return on the next day and it was explained to you that in order to perform a repair of this size we need time disassemble, diagnose, and order any parts needed and to do the repair.   Let us remind you that since the vehicle was sold as is without any warranty, this does not obligate us to perform any repairs. We still are willing to offer you AS A COURTESY the TRANSFER CASE on the vehicle to be removed and replaced at no cost to you. Just reminding you that any other repairs, or maintenance needed for the vehicle will be at your responsibility. But whenever we have tried to communicate this to you, you have not answered our calls.  Thank you for your business,

As we explained to you during our conversation in the office, it is in our best interest that vehicles remain in good shape, and great running conditions during the term we are financing the vehicle for you. We have always been on your side, let me remind you that we decided to help you finance the vehicle you purchased because we believe in you. Our business model is intended to help people in your situation dis-regardless of your credit history or credit score. We constantly helping people establish and/or reestablish credit. We had no intentions of reveling that you would not calm down, and had a very difficult attitude. We asked you to calm down or else we would have had to call the police. Fortunately your husband was calm and we were able to speak to him, while he recovered some personal property from the vehicle.  If you have ever felt insulted, or mistreated in any way we sincerely apologize. In regards to the phone calls, we did try to reach you. If you did not saw the calls or missed them, what is important to us now is that you are aware of what we can offer to you. Please let us know what you decide.  Thank you for your business,
