Review: Lights flickering in my house and power going off for a few seconds several times a day. Oct. 2nd, 2012, called H T Electric Services from an ad I saw in the Arizona Republic. He came to house, checked the panel, installed one new circuit breaker and said that would solve the problem. Paid him $109.70 (Service - $30.00, Labor - $75.00, 20 amp Breaker $4.70 - did not charge any state or city tax). Lights kept flickering with power going off for a few seconds daily. Each time power went off I had to reset all clocks and answering machines. A few days later after the weekend I again called him and he checked out the electric panel and installed another circuit breaker. Again said it would probably solve the problem . It did not. This time he said the charge was $80.00 cash without paperwork. On the first trip he gave me a bill written on a piece of yellow pad. Said he forgot his Service forms. When the power kept going off I called [redacted] Electric in Scottsdale, AZ. They told me my problem was probably the 100 amp fuse at the Meter. Two hours later they were at my house, installed a new 100 amp breaker, and my problems have been solved. Not once since then have my lights flickered or have I lost any power. [redacted] knew how to troubleshoot the problem and got it right the first time!!! I would recomend them to anyone. I sent H T Electric a letter requesting a refund of at least the 2nd service call of $80.00 but have never received a reply to date.Desired Settlement: Would forget the first service charge of $109.70 since we all make mistakes now and then, but figure I should be reimbursed the $80.00 second service charge since the problem was still un-resolved. I hesitated to call H T Electric a third time, because it appeared to me the serviceman did not know how to troubleshoot anything electric.
