H Williams paving is very sorry the homeowner feels that way, we are a reputable business, been in the are for over 30 years, not to be confused with anyone else. We are in the process of resolving the the matter with the customer thankyou for bringing this to our attention. There is absolutely no problem withthe driveway but we will resolve it. Thank you

In response to the complainant rejection all I can say is that the machine the complainant insists on (asphalt paver) has been repaired and we are willing and able to repair her driveway on Monday, November 23, 2015. receiving any of our outreach efforts which is not true. Secondly, your company is once again being fraudulent. Your response said that the equiemt was repaired.Well, Rich offered to finish the job today but without the equipment because they have not yet received it back from repairs. I am NOT going to continue working with a company that 1) can not do the work as contracted because they don't have the equipment 2) continues to be dishonest and fraudulent. You guys just contradicted yourselves within an hour of each other! Refund my $1,000 so I can continue to work with a legitimate company to finish the job.

Review: This company was hired to install an asphalt driveway for $7,500. We contracted with Andre who claimed to be a relative of the owner. On August 5th, 2015, the company arrived with Rich who claimed to be the owner's son but that he also had his own company named [redacted]. Upon contracting with Andre, he stated that it would be a 1 day job. However, on the date of service, they did not finish my driveway. They never applied the top layer of asphalt. The job was probably delayed because of their carelessness. One of their employees dumped a truck load of dirt into the middle of our street which blocked traffic. They subsequently got fined by the town on that morning. We paid the initial deposit of $2,000 upon their arrival and then Rich requested an extra $3,500 towards the end of the day to pay for the asphalt mixture that they picked up and to cover most of the costs. They amended the contract to read that the remaining $2,000 balance would be paid when they finish the job. Rich was unable to schedule a date already for us so it was agreed that we would be in contact once we return from vacation. Since our return on September 13th, we have called multiple times. There was a time in which we were calling daily to both Rich and Andre in order to schedule finishing our driveway. Initially, on 2 or 3 occasions , we were told that they were not available and we were also told that the machine/roller was being repaired and could not do our work the way it was agreed upon in our initial contracting of the company. We were offered a last minute date to finish the driveway without using the machine. We were very specific on the quality of work and how we wanted things to be done when we contracted them so this was not acceptable. Ever since, they have not returned our messages, do not pick up our calls, and no one is present at their address. No response from [redacted] We called ** Paving which had a truck on the property but he refused to help.Desired Settlement: The job was not finished and the driveway is unacceptable as is due to the coarseness of the bottom layer installed. We paid $5,500 in cash for an unfinished service. We now have to spend additional money, time, and aggravation to find another contractor to finish the job. The remaining balance of $2,000 will not be enough to pay for the rest of the job to get done. Ideally, we want the driveway to just be done already. However, I have no trust in this company's professionalism and integrity so I do not want to have to deal with them in finishing my driveway and probably doing poor quality work as a result of this dispute. A refund of $1,000 is required to be able to complete the job with another contractor.

I am rejecting this response because:Once again, your company is not trustworthy. You said that the equipment was repaired and that it wasn't repaired within an hour of each statement. I am not having you finish the job because I don't want to deal with anymore fraudulent claims from your company. Additionally, your company knew from the beginning thay you weren't going to finish the job. You left the basecoat of the new asphalt level with the rest of the driveway. When we pointed it out yo Rich he said that it could be compacted down. The other companies that have come to quote us to finish the job said that is not possible and that now a portion has to be cut out to fix the problem. Refund the money or I will pursue small claims court.
