H2's Salesman measured doors correctly to fit the fiberglass enclosures yr and months after the purchase of the doors, Mr [redacted] decides he wants a custom height door Although Hhas no obligation after months, we generously offered to return the doors for a full refund, which we are still willing to do, but he must return the doors at his expense.Burnell H [redacted] , V.P

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I clearly explained to Brian S [redacted] that I wanted the new shower door header to sit atop the fiberglass enclosure in both the Hall Bathroom and the Master Bathroom In fact, the header for the existing shower doors (which are still in place) in the Master Bathroom sits atop the fiberglass enclosure so all Brian needed to do was duplicate those measurements In the Hall Bathroom the old doors were removed already so Brian needed to take precise measurements for fabrication of the new glass doors which are at least 3" too short Brian and I never discussed "custom glass" because I specified exactly how I wanted the headers positioned, and I wouldn't know if that required custom glass or not My specifications for the new shower doors are the same now as they were when Brian S [redacted] took his original measurements For whatever reason Hfabricated the doors incorrectly His solely responsible for the mistake Hdelivered the doors and it is their responsibility to pick them up Material costs have escalated since Hfabricated the glass doors That is why His willing to give me a refund.I have since ordered new glass doors for the Hall Bathroom from another vendor Their representative who came to measure for the new doors followed a much more detailed process: using a level to check the sill and sides, plus measuring the height of each side of the enclosure, the width top and bottom of the enclosure, and the distance between the walls so they can precut the header Those doors will fit precisely The other vendor's representative never mentioned "custom glass" and when I questioned him about that term, he said the glass doors will be made to fit the enclosure Regards, [redacted]

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I clearly explained to Brian S[redacted] that I wanted the new shower door header to sit atop the fiberglass enclosure in both the Hall Bathroom and the Master Bathroom.  In fact, the header for the existing shower doors (which are still in place) in the Master Bathroom sits atop the fiberglass enclosure so all Brian needed to do was duplicate those measurements.  In the Hall Bathroom the old doors were removed already so Brian needed to take precise measurements for fabrication of the new glass doors ... which are at least 3" too short.  Brian and I never discussed "custom glass" because I specified exactly how I wanted the headers positioned, and I wouldn't know if that required custom glass or not.  My specifications for the new shower doors are the same now as they were when Brian S[redacted] took his original measurements.  For whatever reason H2 fabricated the doors incorrectly.  H2 is solely responsible for the mistake.  H2 delivered the doors and it is their responsibility to pick them up.  Material costs have escalated since H2 fabricated the glass doors.  That is why H2 is willing to give me a refund.I have since ordered new glass doors for the Hall Bathroom from another vendor.  Their representative who came to measure for the new doors followed a much more detailed process: using a level to check the sill and sides, plus measuring the height of each side of the enclosure, the width top and bottom of the enclosure, and the distance between the walls so they can precut the header.  Those doors will fit precisely.  The other vendor's representative never mentioned "custom glass" and when I questioned him about that term, he said the glass doors will be made to fit the enclosure.
