HA Comedy Club

Review: HA! Comedy club has promotors on the streets of time square selling tickets to the club for $20 plus you must buy 2 drinks per person. However they totally scammed us when selling the tickets. They SAY there will be a bunch of top comedians there (naming a list of at least 6 that we were familiar with), told us Comedy Central will be filming the show, told us the show would be 90 minutes long, told us you could show up at anytime after 9:30 and could watch various acts as the comics rotate around 3 rooms, etc etc etc. Not one thing they told us was true. The show was in a tiny room, with 3 comedians that were obviously never going to make it, show lasted about 40 minutes. When I complained they told me they can't control what the promotors say but that I was stupid to believe a show for only $20 could be anything worthwhile. They also told me I should thank them it ended early because it wasnt a good show anyways. When I emailed them to complain they said they were expecting to hear from me as this MUST happen all the time. I noticed on Trip Advisor that we were not the only ones to get schemed. What they do has to be illegal. They sell tickets on pure lies.Desired Settlement: Justice. I don't expect my money back but the club owner needs to change his policies or be put out of business.
