In answer to your letter of Wed Nov 9th, I have corrected all the errors surrounding this letterMy explanation is as follows:
First of all we have a happy hour that is advertized from Monday thru Friday as a $off all drafts and well drinks at a price of $My new
barterderdid not know this because she was told we had a happy hour thru the week but not on weekendsIn our business the weekend is Saturday and SundayWhen I was approached on this problem it was after 7pm and I was confronted with the problem that the customer was very unhappy about being charged the full price of his beers instead of getting his dollar offHe told me that the bartender told him there was no happy hour even tho we had it advertized on posters thru out the restaurantI told him we did have a happy hour and I gave him the difference of what he should have gotten offI gave him $at that timeThen he told me we overcharged him for the Burger of $and I told himthat we had a menu for a special party and we must have forgotten to change the price but that we are coming out with a new menuSo he told me he had burgers but he only had burgers but I gave him an additional $He was given everything that we shorted himThis was a mistake that we did not realizeI looked at the computer and for whatever reason the Bud Light Draft did not change during the happy hourWe have corrected that problem which we were not aware ofAlso I changed back the price of the Burgers to the menu priceWe take great pride in making sure the customer is happy at all timesThese two errors were not errors that we were aware ofWe have since let the new bartender know the happy hour runs Monday thru Friday
He was given back at the time all monies due him for our mistakeI have to say he did not understand that mistakes can happen and we were trying to make sure he was happy before he left but he was not having any of itWhen people start screaming it kind of puts an edge on all conversation and understanding goes out the window
We are very sorry that this mistake happened and will see that we are very careful to make sure all prices match up to the menu and the customer only gets charged what they are suppose to
